I just put in my "new" ford 8.8 rear end yesterday, and today on the way to school and back home it felt as if my rear tires were rubbing. well I checked and they are. Is the way to fix this with wheel spacers? Ive read very little on them and am not sure. Also what brand of them have ya'll used? Thanks Brandon

Ok well I have some more info on this. Today was the first day I got to drive my truck with the new rear end lift and what not. Any ways, The ride felt even worse then when I had the old (very bad) shocks on. The new shocks feel as if they provided any help at all :dunno: I will be going back to the 4x4 place tomarrow and will also find out what my ride hight is tonight (with out any axles in the bed). The accessory guide actually calls them "Sport Bars" not Roll Bars. did you ever notice that every truck in that book had a cargo light? so what happened to them Brandon

Also since I'm doing a 4x4 convert don't the 4wd leafs sit about an inch higher then 2wd leafs? So when looking for a new leaf pack wouldnt I be looking for 4x4 leafs? Brandon

So today I finished up putting in the "new" ford 8.8 and rear lift (add a leaf shakles and shocks that came with the RC 4.5" lift). How ever it looks as if I didnt put any lift in on the rear at all :dunno: The guy at the 4x4 shop where I did this at was a bit stunned at this as I was to. He said that it may be that my leafs are sagging due to age? is probable? What should my ride hight be? I think around 25" right? If I do need a new leaf pack I was thinking about going with the hell creek leaf pack. Any thoughts? thanks Brandon

I did the herculiner on my truck and All I can say is so far I wish I would have saved for somthing like a rhino liner or line x. BUT I have only put the 1st of 2.5 coats on with 2 axles in the bed driving alot. But still I would save for somthing better Brandon

Dark blue is also easyer to keep cleen, it hides all the dirt. Also dark blue don't show marks as bad as light blue. I like it Brandon

Hey so now that I have my new front and rear axles almost in with a new gear ratio, what do I need to do to get my speedo to show the right speed? Also what will I need to do when I get 33" tires for it to show the righr speed? Thanks specs: I have a, 4.0 I6, 1989, auto, old gear ratio 3:55, new will be 4:10, tire size as of now 31" ( with the speedo being off by 5mp...ish) Thanks Brandon
