Just like I said wouldliene to have a real snorkel. Please pm me for more info thanks :) Brandon
  2. It's not "all the time" that I see them up for sale just every once in a while on places like Cherokeeforum.com, and eBay. I'll do alot more digging and post up what I find. Also I've never heard of any thing bad about the cheep Chinese snorkel, do u have any links with more info? Thanks Brandon

  4. That looked very clean and nice. I had never known of the ARB snorkel not working with bushwackers :dunno: But I would hope that me trimming up the fenders would not effect it. I think that IF I could get it to look right I would try to make one but if I could find a used one that would be best. Thanks for the thoughts and helpfull info :wrench: Brandon
  5. Would an XJ snorkel kit fit my 89 Comanche? I see them up for sale alot used so I thought if it would fit right then I could get one used instead of spending 300+ on a new one. I've never seen a home made one turn out any good and I will be putting one on ASAP after the new motor go's in. Thanks! Brandon

    Off roading

This was side of the apartment about an hr ago lol Brandon
  16. Cooper STT tires are some of the best. Great mud tire and good street tire. The guy who started our towns off road club http://gearheadoffroadclub.com/forum/ has had 33x12.5 on his TJ since 07. Since then hes put about 65k on them and he still has another 10 or so to go on them. Brandon

    Off roading

Here are some pics and videos of the past few days offroading. The first few pics are of me trail riding and doing some flexing on a dirt hill and on the side of the tail. The dirt hill was to soft to do to much flexing but not bad. Going to the tail and flex on the side of it: This is some after math of mudding that night before me and a few friends went to camp, P.S. sorry for the crap video: r07xiSbMn7M This is the next day dropping off a friend and testing out the look of my "new" rims at his house: I thought this picture was cool it was after it had rained a bit. And so After I dropped him off we went back out to the tail/mudding area and found a hill. It looked like a bunch of 4wheelers had gone up and down it so since I'm in a Jeep I thought I should try it... So after going up and down the hill a few times it seems like I had loosened up the dirt a bit to much and... Well since I was breaking the # 1 rule of wheeling, not going with some one else... I had to wait for another friend of mine to come out and rescue. It took about 30 min before he got there so i took a few pics but not many. Sadly every body was to busy while I was getting pulled off the hill and keeping me from flipping on my side to take any pics. But right after I got the hill I gave him a hand shake I was off again . We took a few pics but the guy I had with me hates to take pics or videos and I was NOT going to let him drive my truck while I was out of it. So here are the few pics he took and the small video: iHPOVHXFxu4 So now that I'm home ive got to wash the truck :( but tonight it rained and did some of that for me :rotfl2: So now I get to sit down relax and begain planning for the next time
  18. Yes i get how to do videos now :dunce:
  19. Thank you wait for my next post in the pub... r07xiSbMn7M
  20. When I went though the lift kit part of the build I did the cheaper Of the two And went with the Rough country 4.5" lift and not the hellscreek. What rough country dose not tell you that if your leaf pack is worn out like mine was you won't get ANY lift from there kit. So in the end I had to either go SOA which ment I could have gotten to Much lift, or go with the hellcreek 4.5" leaf pack. So went with the hellcreek pack and I am very happy I went that route. With the hellcreek springs I can put double or triple the amount of weight in the bed. But if I would have gone with the hellscreek lift in the 1st place I would have saved my self alot of trouble and more importantly $. Tom from hellcreek is very helpfull and there springs are very beefy. So if you can don't cheep out, get the good stuff from hellscreek. You will be very glad you did so. Brandon
  21. On the 15th my truck will be going off the road for about a week so I can redo the rear Pinion angle, put I the AW4 trans, 231 t case, front Dana 30, 4x4 shifter, and maybe if we have time finish up the rear bumper and mount that on. So before I do all of that I'm trying to take care of a bunch of little stuff I can do while it's off the road and taken apart. I know a place I could get that shackle relocater for like $30 bucks. Thanks for trying to look out for me you might of known that if I would get off my a$$ and update my build page but... I haven't yet. Brandon
  22. Right now I have 2" RC drop shackles. I would love 8" of lift but thanks to the hellscreek amazing lift springs I can't just do a SOA with drop shackles to get there. So I'm trying to find other ways to get close to that. Right now I think that with the spacers up front, 4.5" RC coil springs, 4.5" hellscreek lift springs and 2" RC drop shackles I have 6"+ of lift. I don't like the idea of supper long shackles, but what are XK shackles? Thanks Brandon
