  1. take some chualk and draw a line on the tire straight across. then drive forward and back a few times then look and see what rubbed off the line. air down or up until the line goes away evenly. i havent tried that but its seems like it would work. :dunno:
  2. well i mean the bed is not even on the truck, a roller (or brush for tight spots) wouldnt be a bad way to do it. probably cheaper too. i used a roller to apply my POR under/on the rockers and cab. it wasnt bad at all and i was laying under it doing it.
  3. man. its been awhile since ive thought about them too. its probably been 6 or 7 years ago when i last used one. i could never get a good nights rest on one cause i move around a lot at night. the nonstop motion kept me awake unless i was drunk. go figure but using them for other things, thats a different story :D
  4. 4 door doors. 2 doors are to long. like i said though POR should be covered up with something after its applied. also theres a spray on bedliner from walmart thats "okay". it might even be a herculiner product. the cost of doing your truck with it though might not be good.
  5. I sense you are under the age of 20 by your comments. The day I turned 18 the first thing I did that morning was walk into the post office and sign up for selective service. The next thing I did was enlist in the Marine Corps. I have been a Marine for almost 20 years now. I agree whole heartedly with this father. I have a 13 year old son. He is a handful right now. That is the nature of the beast with teens and puberty. Kids today have some idea that the are entitled to this or that. I see it every single day. I had to jump a kids @$$ last night for disrespecting one of his NCOs. He felt the senior Marine had to earn his respect. The only thing that out burst got him was a few hours of cleaning the heads and swabbing the decks in the battalion CP. I don't owe anyone a damn thing. I got to where I am with my own hard work. I grew up dirt poor in a small farm town in Pennsylvania. I know what it is to have to work for something and then enjoy the fruits of your labor. I blame parents for their kids. Not the kids themselves. actually I'm 26. i didnt watch all of the video. i mainly jumped around until i saw the shooting start. i could care less what the deal was, my first post still stands. i mean he's bitching about how his daughter posted online about family stuff. so what does he go and do. post online even more about it. thats my point. don't take the time to make a video of you taking out your anger about something. go talk to whoever it is about it for eight minutes instead and see if you still want to shoot something. i doubt you will but hey, lets all be ignorant on youtube......
  6. :rotf: :rotf: ive got por15 and its okay. i should of covered it up with a bedliner after since its for rust proofing not damage/sun resistant.
  7. the tires are a 305/70/16 nitto mud grapplers. they are radials i believe
  8. kind of sad (pathetic) really. instead of talking to that camera, how about talking to your daughter. on a less serious note. it wasnt worth the view even with shooting the laptop. :dunno:
  9. a buddy has tires i can get for cheap but they are 10ply. all ive ever run on is 6 or C load tires. how would those run on an MJ? i figured being E rating they wouldnt get as good sidewall flex and be rough as hell. thoughts?
  10. mine would be my tcase also. i think its the first time its been cleaned in a very long time
  11. for a carry pistol i lucked out on my local jeep club and got a beretta 21a .22 for a smoking deal. perfect for a back pocket and easy as hell to use/clean. out of all i own that is the one i always go for when going on a small trip or into a bad part of town.
  12. :D makes me think of that black guy in the bronco that killed that chick and got away with it.. what was his name again :rotf: if it turns out horrible with the rattle can job, ill step up to the gun. i just can't see putting that much time and effort into it when i know what it goes through. right now it looks like itll be white. not really feeling any other color. i still may do the 80s baja throw back. white with yellow (or blue) bumpers, roll bar, diff covers and maybe light covers.
  13. i hate red vehicles, end of story.

    bump.
  15. really. worst case would be finding one like yours and having to open another one. no biggie. grab it, clean it, throw it in and your good to go man
  16. once the weather gets decent I'm going to paint up the truck. i probably won't go all out (spray paint) but i do have a gun i could use. I'm thinking its a trail rig so why put a lot of time into paint that'll eventually get beat on. anyway my thoughts on color(s) is maybe white truck with either blue or yellow accents. like 80s baja maybe? just white with everything black army tan with white star leave it camo! I'm still thinking on this so your thoughts on ideas or colors would be great
  17. ^^^^ do what he says. i thought my chain crapped out and thought my ds was good. almost the whole shaft was shot. its worth the time to unbolt it and check it out.
  18. that pisses me off so bad! they do that down here too on the classic rock stations. my thing is, its not how old a song is, its the type of song it is. nirvana and the like, are NOT classic rock. they are rock and off into sub-categories of that. i know i know, youll say well what were those songs back in that time. they werent classic rock, just rock right..... i agree but a different kind of rock then it is now days, hence, classic rock. i won't say a new band can't be classic rock but its very hard to capture that sound, that style of the 60s and 70s. not trying to argue or start anything but come on people. nirvana and steppenwolf don't belong on the same channel!!!
  19. oh yeah. same here. my ipod will be on Oceano then Tom Petty then Explosions in the Sky but its better to be open minded then listen to the same type crap your whole life  new band for today, Bear Hands.
  20. damn. most of us listen to the same stuff. a few new bands but def a lot i know another band i stumbled across is Say Hi. okay stuff.
  21. drove mine to work yesterday and through a mud hole this morning :D i feel for some of you guys not getting to drive yours. i think the longest i have been without mine might of been a week. nothing was wrong with it, i was out of town :peek:
  22. I'm sure this has been over but I'm looking for some new (old) tunes. ive found a few new bands but I'm burnt out basicly. so what are you listening to these days? last band i found was Starf*cker. weird stuff but happy poppy groove stuff
  23. good to know. i seemed to remember that someone was saying they were different lengths on XJs. guess its a case of don't believe everything you read :dunno: XJs are plentyful so ill grab one tomorrow
  24. any certain years on the ZJ or is it just whenever i come across one kind of thing? there are no spare MJs around here. ever. if there is its totaled or they think they have gold. hardly ever a parts MJ, espcially 4wd. i think this has been over as well but wouldnt a XJ front shaft work?
