Not much motor work done yet. Mainly just replaced gaskets and cleaned up stuff. New vacuum harnesses and an ACCEL power tuner kit. She's getting a new exhaust hopefully tomorrow. I have dreams of putting a HEMI or at least a 350 someday. :D

I got all the parts from Ebay for under $300, but I would highly recommend getting them from an XJ at the Junk yard. I may even swap out my header before I get her painted.

Here is my 1988 Jeep Comanche Sport 4x4, 4.0L, Dana 30/35. Fresh off her truck ride from "Bonkers" house from all the way up in Delaware! Thanks Bonkers for all your help. Some sugar blasted Rubicon rims and 31" MTR's from my Rubicon, and a $50+ tailgate handle. Getting the 97+ front end. I used some el-cheapo parts from Ebay for the conversion. Someday I will replace all these parts with factory parts from a cherokee. My Floor pan nightmare! Just a couple tiny holes. I used a floor pan repair kit from Por15. New vinyl, reupholstered seat, and VW interior lights. Vinyl is temporary. I plan on having the interior rhino lined. Leveled out the front end with 2.5 spacers. Pre-lift Post lift and new front brakes, steering stabalizer, and bushing kit.

How do you use a bottle jack to push the axel forward? Where do I put it? I got the arms in the brackets, but I am still about .75" away from lining up the holes. :headpop:

I was putting in some spacers today and can't get the lower control arms to line back up, any advice?

I'm working on installing some 5.25 Infinity Kappa's in the back and in the doors. I had them laying around and decided to get some use out of them.

I would think bad sockets. I couldn't get the driver side to work on mine so I cut them both off and wired some in off from a 97+ harness, works great now. I have seen replacement sockets at the auto parts store for a couple dollars.

I'll give you $50 plus the cost if you make me one. :D

I ran the spider trax spacers on my Rubicon for almost a year with the stock Moab wheels. I used red loctite and had no problems. I checked the torque every 3000 miles and they never came loose. I only removed them to put on my 16x10 wheels.
