So I finalized the purchase of a new edition to my family! Short bed 87 2.5 tbi 4x4. 30/35 4.10's, ax5, no idea on the transfer case I think it's a 231 but possibly 207. 75% original! Has some sort of sun roof (Factory possibly? not sure) has a untouched non mangled bed, non cracked tail lights! Brandy new exhaust, ball joints, TRE's shocks and a file of receipts. Though it has flaws...Currently stuck in reverse and has serious floor problems on the drivers side. Set me back a cool $450. Tomorrow I am off to pay her off and tow her home! :needpics: Old picture from seller as I didn't bring my camera. Let the build begin!

When I first got it home I pushed and shoved, huffed and puffed and couldn't get it to move. I decided in my infinite wisdom to give it a flying drop kick....now the shifter feel like it's in neutral but the truck is still in reverse. Oops :grrrr:

I just sealed the deal on a 1989 4 banger manche. The issue aside from the floors is the tranny is stuck in reverse. I have a ba10 from my old rig would this tranny mate to the 4 banger or is it totally different? Also is their a way to see if it is just the linkage busted up in the truck without removing it?

Seat belts are in normal shape for the age of the truck, not ripped up anywere. they are a dark redish maroon color. I'll grab some pictures tomorrow.

The brackets are Mj factory and the at least one seat is believed to be factory. They are a light redish tacky 80s color. Unfortunately the two seats match only in color, they look a bit different, one is a tweed type pattern and the other is plain jane. one is power one is not :doh: I will sell brackets separately though as the seats aren't exactly wonderful.

It is a 4.0 but unfortunately the Pcm will not be salvageable. Sorry I'm not sure what is ment by cab corners, if it's literally the corners of the cab then yes they are in good shape I'll snap some shots for you. The bumper has is pushed in on the passengers side, brackets are straight. I'll go grab a picture for you. Edit: here's the bumper.

Guess who completely forgot how flammable brake cleaner is? Now guess who hosed down his brakes with it? Then guess who tried to torch off a bolt on the control arm? Guess who needs to replace everything on the drivers side?

It doesn't totally matter what it is out of I prefer a Mj/Xj to make the install a little bit quicker. The gearing doesn't matter because the person this is for has a set of 3.55 he wants to put in before he gives the rig to his daughter for her first car. The thing won't ever be abused (well actually it only has to survive a teenage girl) odds are it won't hit the dirt/be ever lifted/ ever go into 4x4.

I'm looking for a d35 for a buddy and hopefully somebody here is hording some for cheap. Gear ratio doesn't matter, would prefer the axle to be complete drum to drum just to make it easier for us. Thanks

I have 2wd springs on mine, they are a bit lower then I would have liked but they give a great quality ride in my opinion.

I am a socialis0t actually and I agree that there are some socialist laws in effect though not the correct ones. If looked at in perspective socialism could in fact work, though it would take a larger effort from the people/government officials to put in effect. I look at the current government as a Capitalist empire which will do what ever it needs to survive, regardless of thee public out roar. I'm not here to argue though just some friendly political chit chat. Edit: I'm not 100% up to par on the Deceleration of Independence/Constitution (which willingly I admit I should be when talking politics) but is there not a part were it says when the the current government no longer works a revolt against said government should take place? Well something similar to that. I am not saying that we need to start a war against the government but the fact that the people truly have no say irritates me. I believe there is a "shadow government" in affect which makes all final decisions for the country no matter what is said/done. Thus why new religions are deemed "cults" that many times are taken down by federal officials when they gain strength in numbers. Thus why speaking/writing against the government publicly can lead you to jail time although we have "freedom of speech, freedom of press" yes in this country we do currently have many more rights for all then others do and we should all appreciate the rights we were given. Just I believe this country needs a major overhaul and the peoples individual thoughts and concerns should be more respected. this is just my personal thoughts, you may disagree with me and I respect anything you have to say.
