  1. nothing do with my MJ but I went to junkyard for first time. Got XJ and ZJ proportioning valve for 10 dollars both :thumbsup:

  4. Nobody said they were ALL bad. When you consider the big chains sells a thousand or more of an item a couple bad ones is no big deal,,,unless you're the one that got one of the bad ones. hm hope mine is good one :peek:

  6. not sure what your talk about? rotor as wheel hub like my hp d44 and another rotor it self without wheel hub?
  7. paint dried up so time for brake parts install and steel line it up. ingore the red zip ties, they are temporary. Ill try get metal zipties asap welded the extended hose's bracket and hooked up my custom steel lines. brake parts are done! but gotta need steel tube to center the rotor up.
  8. done with rear brakes and brake steel lines! now time to hunt the xj proportioning valve for cheap :banana: ingore the red zipties. I will buy some metal zipties someday. those plastic is just for temporary. more pics r in my project thread :thumbsup:

  10. yea its help alot but now I don't use the adjuster anymore and use prybar method and pry the power steering metal mount then tight the lock nut. Its alot easier for me than loosen or tighten the adjuster bolt.
  11. :agree: thats what i have on my Impreza front brake. its notice huge different. stop distance is most noticeable that i had. about 1 and half car length cut stop distance compare with stock by just replace front pads with hawk pro pads. I'm gonna get some for my mj too later. I rather hawk pads than ebc :thumbsup: I have video from 100-0 brake with my hawk pro pads if you want see edit: that video is acutally my 07 2.5i race with my best friend 06 2.5i with stock pads. you will see my full brake from about 100ish to 0 brake. you will notice how different when i braking same time with my best friend. go hawks! http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1311724669940

  13. yesterday, my good friend with 3 years at work with weld experience did 3 layers weld on my rear brake caliper bracket :thumbsup: today I sprayed the bracket with anti rust spraycan on brackets soon after paints drying up then Ill install my rear brake parts then focus on brake lines :banana:
  14. yesterday, My good friend that have 3 years experience of weld, welded my brackets with 3 layer of weld :thumbsup: today, i painted the brackets to with anti rust spray can. soon will install rear brake parts on then focus on brake lines. :banana:
  15. chances are that the previous owner mistakenly thought pulling the thermostat would help with overheating. Maybe? All I know that my mj didn't take good maintenance from previous owner so I'm improve my mj to get it in good shape as much I can.
  16. how its ride goes? i just finish clean the clogged heater core out. its take me about a gallon of water to clean it sh*t out. now i have heat blowing inside my mj :banana: still gotta to fix the over heat issue. look how its dirt after unclogged. there more than jsut this amount. aboue a gallon. I havent took the pic. plus ingore the color red its transfluid
  17. done grinding the driver side rear axle shaft flange. also done trim the custom flange to let caliper sit closer to rotor so pads will able wear out even and best contact
  18. now that bumper look alot better than mine when i bought my mj. look more clean and better look compare to mine I'm gonna sell mine asap when i get arb bumper :thumbsup:
  19. or try just play with shifter to shake the sensor up. if its work then nss is start get bad. replace it.
  20. :agree: I really like bfg m/t km but havent tried km2. they last long pretty good on road and great on mud, snow, ice, and not that noisy on road. just little in low speed.
  21. now I'm start work on rear axle flange to get cj7 rotor fit on. before grinding after grinding for about a hour now test the cj7 rotor... its finally able fit on! :banana: now time to measure the bracket up then weld it up. I'm not good welder-yet so i just weld to hold the bracket up to mock it up. Ill wait for my good friend to come over and weld it for me and final, mock up picture will do same thing on driver side tomorrow or later
  22. done grind and finally cj7 rotor fit over flange that i grinded mock up picture
  23. pause the bleed method on coolant since I'm already on stand for rear brakes install. so now I'm grinding the axle flange for cj7 rotor to able fit on. It'll taking an while.
  24. thanks to let me know.... if its like 130 then forget it ill do myself or ask my good friend from wisc to see if can he do it for me in his shop that do Restoration the muscles car.
  25. hmmm no wonder i havent see any seal on bearing, yet) ill try find a shop that can do the install. thanks! but 38 dollars...each.thats hurt me lol. guess i gotta wait until i get some cash to paid for it.
