Sounds like I can't help you. And may have made a mistake as mine is an 89 model. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Well I may have paid 20 bucks for something I can't use. Do you know if the volt meter leads will match up to the circuit card? I haven't taken mine off yet to see what the back looks like Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Had 89 written on the windshield. Doesn't mean it was Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

I'm not very knowledgeable about all the differences, but I pulled this out of an 89 Cherokee a few days ago. Just to compare the pictures. I pulled the whole cluster but all I really wanted was the volt meter. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Rails are on the list, but I'm running out money. Goal today was the Eliminator rims. Found a relay cover, oh $#!& handle and leather wrapped steering wheel looks new. Trying to work a deal on a rollbar on a running one that's for sale here. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

This one is right on the edge. Great parts truck. Needs a lot of work. Passenger doesn't close. Interior is rough. But it runs and passes state inspection. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

I looked at that winch. I do like it and it might happen if I do a winch. But it'll be on the back burner Today's find. Found it sitting between the bed and the cab buried in the ubiquitous pine straw that seems to be everywhere. I wonder how long it's been there. It just may become some kind of permanent fixture of this Comanche Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Rebadging/decals or nothing at all ?

With that shiny black you gotta go with the Chrome. I'd do the badges and leave the decals off. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk -
Could be worse. 32 here and I'm testing with fire hydrants for the day. We missed about 20 of them a few months ago....when it was warm. Looking fwd to a warm recliner tonight. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

So my Dad found this picture of the original 89 Jeep Comanche he had. This was taken in either 1989 or early 1990. Judging by the Grand National in the back ground its either summer or Christmas break as that was my now current Brother in law's and he was dating my sister so she had to be home from college. Please note thats also an 89 Mustang LX with the 5.0L. It was actually faster than the GT model as it didn't have the ground effects and spoiler and was lighter. Man that thing would fly. The Comanche was all stock. 4.0L 5 speed, not sure which tranny was in it. Had the bucket seats and just check out those rims! No AC but it did have AM/FM Cassette. It did not come with a roll bar. Dad obtained that from a friend. It was the only piece recovered off of his stolen F150. It it was cut in half to fit and bolted to the floor and the wheel wells. We couldn't shorten it to fit perfectly on top of the wheel wells, so the hieght was left. It was tall and didn't look quite right, but it let them lights shine over everything. For $50 dollars a month, my Dad allowed me to drive it from Friday night after he got home from work til Sunday night. He gave me a tank of gas and I had to leave it full for him. I was 17 years old doing 17 year old stuff in this truck. I had a LOT of fun with this truck!!! After I left for the Air Force, Dad drove this thing for over 300k miles. House is on stilts for a reason. A Hurricane got it, flooded up to the headrests. It was a sad day when the tow truck hauled it off. Up til now we've been going on memory. But now we have a good photo. I have a good base to start with but this is what its going to be. PDF file is a large version of the photo Scan20200121114145(1).pdf

Today's projects. Reinstalled painted valve cover and new gasket. Painted and reinstalled master cylinder cover. Replace the front vacuum harness since I broke it removing the valve cover. Also had to figure out new hoses and adapters to replace the EVAP canister vacuum line as I broke it also. They don't make those anymore. Tried with touch up paint to redo the Comanche badge edging. Looks great from 20 feet. Up close...not so much. Think I'm going to try spray paint then sand it off the letter. Little soft wire brush I have seems to work pretty good without messing up the Chrome. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Finally done with the tail light saga

good looking dash cover. Thinking about getting one for mine as I want to protect my near perfect dash. I have another vehicle that the dash is in pieces after 20 years of ultraviolet exposure. -
It's got something with emissions and cold starting. It's got vacuum lines as well hooked into the air box at the same place Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Actually just located a set of rims today. Probably drive out to get them (200 miles) sometime next week. A few days ago I Found a roll bar in my town on craiglist but somebody swooped it up before I could get there. Had to wait til payday (tomorrow).
