  4. Buddy of mine sent this to me, it's about 2 hours south of where I am. Looks like a decent little truck! $8,000 asking price. https://www.facebook.com/share/1AArE1nYbq/?mibextid=wwXIfr

  8. Wow that's pricey!
  9. The title says it all. I'm looking for a good condition manual shifter console with 4WD in gray. Thanks!
  10. I should have one in the garage. Give me a few days to get there and check
  11. Not an article, but... Did anyone else see this? Is this actually happening? https://youtu.be/d3bG8-fPyws?si=ZGVzWiasqZoVEWO0
  12. Hunt eBay, they come up every few months. I found both my Gold and Bronze ones on there.
  13. I wish I could take credit for the original idea behind these. A few years ago I saw a guy on a Comanche Facebook page who had some made for his truck. Instantly knew I wanted to add them to mine. I was able to find the same image on Google, reached out to BoxyJeep and he was able to recreate them. The installation took a lot longer than I expected and it's definitely not a professional job but I think they look great. I'm hoping after a few days and a little warmer weather some of the bubbles with dissipate. Also added Trail Rated badges to the quarter panels and a 1941 badge to the tailgate. I still have a few aesthetics to add to give it a more unique to me look.
  14. After what was easily more than a year, I'm happy to announce that the War Horse is back on the road! I realized awhile ago that no matter what we fix, replace or enhance there will always be something else to address. There's an issue with 2nd gear that I'd like to figure out. I need to get a weld fixed on the exhaust. I'm still finding water on the passenger floorboard after a hard rain and I'd like to get the one piece rubber windshield gasket installed. I'm also looking at having custom emblems made. With all that, here are some new photos
  15. Brushed it clean of dirt and surface rust with purple Scotch Brite pad. Really just gave it a good once over.
  16. No, the undercarriage was surprisingly in really good shape, even under the old bed. I don't plan on driving it during the winter anymore and it'll be stored in the garage. We did the POR15 because why not, when the bed was already off.
  17. We did not do inside the frame. With the box off, we cleaned up the frame really good and painted it on nice and thick. Once it drys, it's rock hard. Also did not require the top coat, because this is all underneath the truck and not exposed to the UV rays.
  18. This paint color is wild! Depending on the angle, light source and brightness it can appear Green, Blue or Gray. I really like it a lot. We were able to Rhino line the bed, install the roll bar, spare tire mount, Jerry can holder and Oracle taillights. Ran into an issue with the truck starting and ended up having to replace the ignition coil and ignition control module. Which worked, until the electronic control module went. That will hopefully be here in the next few days. Then replaced the broken track bar mount. Did some more work on the Wrangler shifter console and got that secured in place where it shouldn't interfere with the shifter getting into gear. Also got the tailgate trim painted with help from my mother and her taping patience and added another Wander's Compass to the hood. There are still a few things I'd like to do and a few items I'm waiting on. 98ish percent done I believe.....this time.
  19. Looking for either a NOS or really good condition 3 Spoke Gray Steering Wheel. Picture for reference
  20. Moving right along, we went with Jeep Rhino PSQ for the color. Kind of a blue-ish gray. I really like how it came out. We also put the bed onto the frame. A few more minor things left, then she's ready for the road again!
  21. Well Pete, I'm sorry to say the reverse patina is no longer. Primer went on today.
  22. Here is the current state of my bed. . .not quite tail light ready, soon though, very soon
