  2. Thank you for the lead. Did he provide a phone number? Sounds good, just let me know if you wanna sell yours lol.
  3. I am in need of a set of Comanche tail lights for my 88. If anyone has a set for sale, please send me a message!
  4. External bell housing, master/slave assembly, bearing retainer, and clutch fork assembly
  5. Check this one out: https://www.amazon.com/Parking-Brake-Release-Cable-Handle/dp/B0753SYCPS/ref=sr_1_fkmr2_3?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1532632052&sr=1-3-fkmr2&keywords=toyota+truck+parking+brake+handle You could potentially cut and bend the holes up so it would screw right on. Or this one: https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-924-087-Parking-Release-Handle/dp/B01BDWPASA/ref=sr_1_16?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1532632931&sr=1-16&keywords=parking+brake+handle
  6. Oh gotcha. You may be able to use one off of an early Toyota truck. They seem to be very similar. Is this what you’re looking for or do you need the entire handle as well? Cable: https://www.carid.com/1988-jeep-comanche-brake-parts/raybestos-professional-grade-parking-brake-cable-1072331761.html Might be able to make this handle work: https://www.amazon.com/Parking-Brake-Release-Cable-Handle/dp/B0753SYCPS/ref=sr_1_fkmr2_3?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1532632052&sr=1-3-fkmr2&keywords=toyota+truck+parking+brake+handle I would just bend the tabs up flat where it would screw in.
  7. That's an awesome ZJ. I can't imagine there are many manuals out there anymore as only a few were made..
  8. I wired in a USB hub with a switch and 2 USB fans I bought from amazon in my old XJ that didn't have working AC. It worked pretty great. Here's the exact fan I bought: https://www.amazon.com/OPOLAR-Enhanced-Rotating-Adjustment-Personal/dp/B0776VGFDL/ref=asc_df_B0776VGFDL/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=242051162351&hvpos=1o4&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2335242354016974309&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9009983&hvtargid=pla-398574575937&psc=1
  9. Morris 4x4 makes it but it's not cheap... https://www.morris4x4center.com/parking-brake-pedal-assembly-5093656aa.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwv-DaBRCcARIsAI9sba_oTyCk77A6MF_esa0EZBEiTfmh9vX7iv5Y8240HyJ39Pt_BdPtGAsaAiOBEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  10. Not sure where you live, but if you are somewhere in the US that is subject to excessive rust, you may want to check the frame where the steering box bolts down. On my 97 XJ, we spent $$ replacing parts only to find that the frame had cracked where the steering box bolts down. Iron rock makes a steering box reinforcement that I welded on and it fixed my death wobble. Just a thought...
  11. Are you absolutely sure it is actually overheating? One thing to check before spending any more money: check to see if your coolant temp sender (the one that runs the gauge which is located at the back of the drivers side of the head) is original or if it looks like it's been replaced. In my experience, NONE of the aftermarket sensors read correctly; they all read high. Next time it starts rising, pull over and check the engine in multiple spots (back of head where sensor is, middle, by water pump, by thermostat, etc.) with a infrared thermometer. I also recommend an inline hose temp sensor and gauge which will give you a more accurate idea of what's going on. Get one of these - they are cheap like 10 bucks or so:
  12. Looking better already! I put a hood and driver's side fender on as well as a chrome front bumper. These will hold me over until I get it painted.
  13. Last week, I bought a 1988 Comanche Pioneer. It has the 4.0, AX15, 4wd. I intend on doing a full restoration over the next year. Some of the things it is going to need are: - Tail Lights - Long Bed (P.O. cut the bottom off of the back to prevent rubbing) - Doors (a little rusty) - Rear bumper - Front Bumper - Chrome Grille & Light Bezels - Console - Door Panels - Various trim pieces - Paint - A/C Work - And a lot more.... Please, if you have any parts for sale - feel free to let me know. I am in the market. Now on to the good stuff..... Last week on the way home: In the driveway for the first time. I will keep this updated as I fix things. Stay tuned!
