They'll be just as durable plastic if not more so than the original. Yes, they will all be the same and I am planning on doing the entire assembly for both right and left sides. Obviously there's a lot left to do, the clear reverse light is in the works. This was my first lense prototype just to prove it can be done so I didn't waste too much time and money. As far as pricing, cost of production, quantity, etc. goes, that's all still up in the air as I am still in the early phases of the process. I'll keep everyone updated as I work through this project and know more of the specifics.

No it won’t damage the original. That would be awesome if I could borrow one! I am planning on also doing the 4.0 high output, 2.5 (thanks to eaglescout526), pioneer, xls, X and fuel injection (again thanks to eaglescout526). Can you think of any I’m missing?

I sure can! I was just talking about this with saveevryjp1998 yesterday. I have to get my hands on some of the others but I am definitely willing to do this. I'll check my collection to see what I have - I believe I have the 4x4 but will have to check for the 4.0 High Output. I know I don't have a metric ton so I'll have to get my hands on one of those.

I currently have one set of solid lowercase black, one set of uppercase solid black, 3 sets of solid glow in the dark and 2 sets of glow letter black background on hand and ready to ship Monday. Others will need to be made to order.

It’s finally time I offer up reproduction Comanche emblems to the club after a couple months of work getting them right. Other reproduction projects are in the works but I won’t spoil the surprise just yet... That being said, all money I make with these will be going into the next project. Did you check the EGR valve and solenoid? From the symptoms you described, it sounds like it could be your problem.

Update on the Comanche Project: Since my last post, I have done a lot. The interior has come a long way. Here are some before and after pictures. Some things to notice in the before pictures include the vice grip window crank, the igloo cooler dual-purpose console/speaker box, the melted vent phone holder, and the Radio Shack CB with no wiring lol. Before: After: Next up: closed to open cooling system "upgrade" pictures. I am slowly cleaning up the engine bay.

I am looking for a long bed with no rust and as dent free as possible. (preferably black). The previous owner cut the bottoms off of mine and I want to replace it. If anyone has one they are letting go, please let me know! Thanks
