A can of 134a/UV to see if there is any leaks, system was low pressure. and half a can of 134a. the system had been converted by somebody for the PO, there was a label. could not say when it was done though the information on it had long faded away. I had truck running with A/C on high and COLD for a good 20-30mins throughout the process.

So my ac is blowing cold now that I charged it, but I'm not sure its acting correct? It fluctuates a lot on the high. My low sits at a constant 24psi. High goes between 165, and 245-250psi. It is currently 75 outside for ambient reference. Thoughts?

I want the dash setup... lol only thing I see myself changing at a glance is MPH direction. (left to right) but idk I think I could get use to it being different. haha. Any chance you have a List of P/N's for the setup?

@Eagle I got how the length changes it. Just not understanding how a shim between the frame and LCA on left or right side of either LCA driver or passenger side would effect it. Only thing I see the shim doing is making a tighter fitment.

@Eagle They came with the axle when i picked up it. was prev installed on 97 cherokee. I still have the factory ones, it seems like the set from factory is 15" and the "newer" ones are 15.5" roughly center eye to center eye. my LCA's when i pulled them off didnt have any shimming at all in it? I don't understand how shimming the LCA on frame side effects the caster angle though? "edit" I get that, might just be a case of *Looks can be deceiving*) ill throw a pic later

Strange thing DW is. so before with the new front end I didnt put the UCA's in, I did not have dw at any speed pre or post hitting bumps/ruts etc. UCA's are back on, with new busings on the axle. I can cruise down the road at any speed with no problem, but once i hit a decent bump, HOLY HELL.... hit the brakes and get it under 30mph. first question, Caster angle. What is it suppose to be at if its "Correct"

Pinion/caster angle was wrong. You win. I couldn't put the upper arms in because the bushings were shot. Had to press them out and press new ones. Problem solved. Seems like it's still about 1/2 to 1 in forward to me anyway.. LCAs are 15.25 center eye to eye aftermarket, unknown brand non-adjusable. UCAs are stock

Put out an electrical fire... Time to use a larger gauge wire....

Shes almost due for another change, I think another 400 miles... might just do her early then I may just knock out trans fluid as well

Reviving thread, New tap, sounds like the valves sticking for cylinder 6 (close to the firewall)? Comes and goes, but not with the trans in 'N'eutral or clutch pressed in. Thinking Oil pump not reaching it, ie pump going bad? I've run seafoam through it, hasnt helped. Oil pump cold start pegs the needle for oil pressure to the right. after 20 mins of running it idles at 35, throttle puts it at 80 or pegged. Thoughts?

Tried the ones that were prev installed on the jeep, and the ones that came with the new axle. both seemed to push it forward. I can only assume that it is stock height. I have not installed any lift as of currently.

1-2" Is just an eyeball measurement. I don't have adjustable UCA/LCA's. I'll look into some. any other ideas?

So I finished my axle swap (for now, need it to get to work) discovered the new axle sits 1-2 inches forward from old solid 2wd axle and the bump stops rub/pop on the coil springs when cornering and hitting bumps.......?? Other then removing the bump stops, thoughts on what I can do?

So, left mine off. Well... let me start with, bushings for the bar are ordered. Without even getting in and driving, just having hands on hood pushing down, omg different haha. Not too bad driving wise imo, but not safe as said. Problem I ran into with my swap was the axle moved forward 1-2 inches? With the bars that were on the manche and the rusty's LCAs that came with it. (I left the rusty's on) UCAs, need bushings, all of them, left them off too. Sway will be going back on when bushings come in, QDs will be ordered later.

Hmmm I see an ax15 in the near future....
