  1. Oh, I just pulled his eBay store up and didn't see any for MJ's
  2. So I guess he pulled out?
  3. Are you talking about the fuse box itself? Because I have this same problem. I sprayed some water on the fuse box under the hood, moved inside and saw water coming down the back side of the fuse box..
  4. I need a driver side turn signal connection. The bulb in mine broke off. Shipping to 29715 I live in fort mill, sc. Thanks
  5. Will a 1987 Cherokee fuel sending unit fit for a 4.0 with 20gallon? Advance part number is E7091S
  6. Where would I find a new fuel sending unit for my 1987 2.5L Comanche Chief? I'm not sure of the size of the tank, maybe a 16-18?
  7. Check fuel injectors... Make sure you have enough ohms on the connection. Injectors might be dried up and not able to send fuel to the pistons.
  8. Anyways... Comanches? Oh yeah, like this one at the top of the thread, it looks alright.
  9. I hardly ever see needles stick out the headliner lol. I'm been wanting to do the headliner, but with my other jeep and money just won't let me. I got some pads and rotors today, I should be able to install them tomorrow.
  10. Yeah it was a vacuum fitting. I was going to rtv it but my friends works for jeep that goes in my class so I got him to get me one. And I was afraid that the rtvwoukd plug the hose.
  11. It's been awhile... I have been driving this thing a lot lately, it is starting to have some issues, and my TJ's muffler just went out, started rattling today, so I'm stuck on both, but I have done a few upgrades, I got my valve cover situated. I just wish I could get a 4.0L :( any free ones out there? lol near me? lol Here's some pics of the valve cover. Had to jimmy rig, some parts. lol It is from a 2.5L wrangler... So I went to the dealer and asked for this part, it was $10.. Also did the LED lights.. :) ohhh me likey. (And yes, my headliner is held up with multi color needles.. lol)
  12. Sorry it took awhile, but here is what I did.. I bought a 91 Cherokee, or wrangler (prob wrangler, doesn't matter all the same) valve cover off ebay for $25, guy didn't have the grommet so I went to autozone, got a filler cap, some hoses, and rtv.. Got everything situation, then noticed there was a hole that something screwed in, went to the dealer and asked them. They got me the part for about $10.. And here it is..
  13. Yes, it will directly bolt on. I did mine not long ago, I got some heater hoses from autozone for the lower air cabin hose to the back of the valve cover and then some vacuum hoses for the front of it. I had to go to the dealer to get my parts for it. I also went and got some new bolts and washers for the cover too. If I get a chance I'll snatch a pic for you.. It might be later tonight..
  14. I'll be bringing it to school tomorrow. If I get a chance to bring it in the shop. What should I look for/do for the problem?
  15. How do I check the ujoints..? Is there a certain way other than just looking at them? lol Do i shake it up and down, left right? Thanks
  16. When I go about 25-30 mph I shift into 3rd gear, I hear this kind of grinding noise from tailpipe (well back on truck, heard with window open).. But once I push the gas more, it goes away, then let off it comes back.. It does this in 4th too... It usually happens about 15 minutes of driving... Any suggestions? I brought the truck into class to look at it and the exhaust wasn't welded on to the pipe, just had muffler clamps, my instructor welded it and we did a smoke test to make sure no more leaks, but this still happens... (it was doing th noise before this too...) Thanks
  17. Could be a misfire... Just throwing it out there. lol
  18. When I start it up for about 15 minutes, smoke comes out of the tailpipe... I believe it is white, so it would be coolant, correct? I should be able to do a coolant compression test tomorrow and finally do my alignment, for free :)
  19. Thanks a lot! Would it not be the piston rings?
  20. So, I have a 5spd 4wd tilt that has the 'wobble' in it.. Can I go to the junkyard and get a tilt from a say 90 Xj auto? Does anyone have pics of what you need to 'bypass'?
  21. I only had time to do 3 spark plug holes today for the compression test... I started with the one closest to the cab and went forward.. Closest to cab results: 75 on first and 150 on last next: 75 on first and 150 last next: 80 on first and 135 on last.. I didn't get a chance to get to the last one because it would've taken too long to move the compressor and such because I had to go to work. Are the compressions in range or no? Thanks
  22. I pulled the dipstick, it doesn't look milkshakey at all, it is a little black though. I waited for the thermostat to open today and I didn't see any bubbles come up afterwards, it just kept overfilling.. I just emailed my instructor at school to see when I could bring it up there to do a compression test.. Compression test is taking out the spark plugs and turning the engine over correct?
  23. I looked at the coolant also and it was kind of rainbowy... lol Like oil is in it but it was still bright green..
  24. It didn't shoot out that much... It just start filling over the the part where the cap goes slowly... Now if I could see what it did when i start it up with the cap off... I might be able to tell you
