Awesome thanks. For the caster it was probably 2 degrees off maybe 1 when I put it on the alignment rack. I couldn't move the LCA anymore forward so I thought I could drill out a bigger area to do that to make more room for the shims. Would that function ok?

I installed a new track bar prior to the lift. I tightened it down good to where the cotter pin would work, so I'll see if I get on it good enough to see if i can hear it.. I might turn it full lock both ways to see where the sway bar is to the coil springs. Off topic, but if I hear like a hissing (like vacuum) noise coming from my brake pedal when I let off, that's a booster isn't it? Thanks

Ok, story time, I installed my 2" lift with coil spacers and drop shackles. Ever since then, when I break, or turn to the left I hear a clunk coming from the drivers side (front). I'm not sure what it is, I thought to be a coil spring popping, but it has done it ever since (about 3-4 months). I did toe on my truck, and that's it because I can't get my lower control arms to go anymore forward (to adjust caster). Would that mean to get adjustable lower control arms? Also, when I turn to the left, or right, it shoots one way, like i'm going to roll even on a small turn... That would be caster correct? Thanks in advanced! Mike

If those are 17's, they look too big for the comanche IMO...

Price dropped to $80

get under it, hit the starter with a hammer and get someone to crank it over while your doing that. If it struggles a little, or won't turn over at all, check the cables/fuses, or you need a starter.

I'm not totally sure, maybe someone might chime in, but maybe a throttle position sensor?

All lights dim when brakes are applied...

It does have a trailer connector. Should I check to see if there is a short from connector to the brakes? -
:rotfl2: small pics. click on it, itll get bigger. thats what she said :brows:

So I shouldn't need that? Unless my antenna cable itself is messed up. Correct?
-
Ok I figured it out that there is no antenna 'trigger' on the Cherokees radio I got. I don't get any static or anything from the speakers, so i'm stuck.

Take the tire off, or just lift the rear end and spin it and lay your hand on it to see/feel if anything is off (bumps, lower tread in a certain section).

Ebrake works fine. Just the ratcheting is screwed up. -

Thanks guys! And hornbrod you're right I do need one. I have one for my wrangler, but never thought of getting one For the truck until now... Lol -
I have searched and couldn't find detailed pics or anything, just wanting to know if anyone out there has a good write up on how to take it out and then reinstall? I took one out of comanche in the junkyard and the cable was still attached, but couldn't get it disconnected from the assembly, so I just cut it. I don't want to do that to mine.. lol Thanks

I got them plugged together but no sound out of the speakers. I turn the power on to the radio and I hear a click then I go to fm and go to a station and silence. I did try to solder the whole headphone aux cord thing. Would that have done anything maybe make the radio come on but no sound? Maybe have burnt something? Thanks

Do I plug the rear speakers from xj radio into the mj rear speakers wires? If so, I did and not getting any sound.
-
I looked good behind there today and saw the writing on some of the wires.. Then I saw like the LF and LR were connected with 1 wire.. Is that good or bad? Because the passsenger side of my truck, the speakers stopped working..
-
Mine just has wires in the back and then go straight into the radio.. No plug at all.
-
are those rear colors for the mj or xj?
-
I looked in the search... I found 1988-1990.. not 1987. I was just wondering if anyone had any info? I got a cassette radio from a 1995-1996 (maybe, had a airbag) cherokee and it had the plug most do but mine in my truck does not, just a bunch of wires... Any help will be appreciated.

Just went through that thread... Couldn't find it. Other people asked but was never answered.
