    New tires:

UPS truck's also have a service life of 25 year's, so some times tire sizes go obsolete in that time frame, i know about obsolete tires & sizes myself. . . Mike

    New tires:

Hey now let's not forget the Goodyear's Commercial tires like G177 Duraseals ? or the Firstone T831's both are very strong tires. G177's: T831s: both great tires . . . Mike
  3. it'll be fine  just fine  Mike
  4. I'm not worried truck ran most of December with 20-50 super tech oil that was 2 years old n had 50 miles on it, it's got 10-40 AMSOIL now . . . So i highly doubt that there will be a noticeable difference between 75-90 and 75-140, both are 75w so they should be the same cold, it not it'll get over it . . . Mike
  5. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :hmm: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:  Mike
  6. So go ahead n use the 75w-140 i got now ? . . . Mike
  7. i know ain't it a hoot :rotfl2: :rotf: Mike
  8. I was just saying 75w is 75w ? i already have or rather had a 5gal pale of the 75-140 is why i was asking. . . Mike
  9. I would have to say let you friends do this to there truck's, while you do a little cutty cut and some zappy zappy welding and do it the right way. then see who's truck comes out better. Mike
  10. Good point the best point of them all  The ring gear will end up on the wrong side on the pinion ;) it'll do 70mph backward but only15-25mph forward :rotfl2:  then you'll have rebuild your engine and starter so it runs backward :rotfl2: :rotf:   Mike
  11. So then i could go with the 75w-140 as the 140w will offer a bit more protection when it get's hot and still be the thin 75w when starting off cold . . . Mike
  12. what ? fuel mileage ? where did i say that was a factor ? Mike
  13. 75w-90 Severe service good suggestion, i was thinking that in my mind but my mind was saying go 75w-140 . . . Mike
  14. what kind of lube goes into the AX-4 4spd ? Gear lube ? AFT ? Syncromesh ? Mike
  15. I spun my rear end, its got 3.73's :???: I thought i was told: 4spd = 3.55's. 5spd = 4.11's. :dunno: Are the 3.73's part of the "Sport truck" package :dunno: Mike

    New tires:

Both my friends have them. one has a set of BFG AT's that look like MT's the has a set LTX's that look like MTR's. .. Mike
  18. I've seen many guys try to fix them up again it never ends well some body normally gets hurt, some missed crack ot weak steal lets go and boom big trouble. I know some times it's hard to let'em go but its normally safer that way. Mike
  19. winter mark's ? i'll have to give them a look see. . . Mike

    New tires:

Yup there fantastic tires, i wouldn't have gone with the BFG AT tread myself I don't like them but i won't go into that. These New retreading design's n concepts they are using these days are nothing like the old style Cap's that's for sure. Mike
  21. :hmm: I sure hope you crushed every one of them, I'd hate to think of that junk being being put back on the road :hmm: sorry but when i hear "pulled out of the woods" or "parked in a cornfield" I know what those look like, i have done some Crushing the past during the winter off season months  Already looked only offering Junk tires, also gave EBAY a look to . . .see above links  Mike
  22. How can we save them all if we can't save his. . . :dunno: Mike
  23. Ebay: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw ... 06.c0.m282 Crags list: http://madison.craigslist.org/pts/1534312324.html So ebay aggressive 235's or Craigs list 235's lame tread . . . So recap's or snow tires . . . Mike
  24. that sucks :fs1: Mike
  25. I don't know, but I think shipping the truck that fare would be awfully uncost effective. Mike
