I think it is normal for trucks that are about 20 some years old on the same idea what did you guys use to replace the damn trim around the windshield when you replace them ??

I bought the 4.5'' from hell's with the aal the lift in the back consisted of the aal and a longer shackel from my point of view just the aal would bring it up to 2'' or 2.5'' and also stiffen your leaf pack a bit so it probably won't seem to sag when youMll load it up again here's a pic when I installed mine

well Ive worked on the truck this weekend almost finalised the inside of the truck and all the wiring thanks to the thread on the '' how to connect the XJ harness to the rear MJ one '' made my life quite easy I also installed the rear speakers and the dash here is a couple of pics I took that's the speaker and the bracket I made with the dash I saw that in an other project thread and I tought it would look nice with the black interior and finally a shot with the passenger seat in with all the interior -

:hijack: do like I do make a list on your beer fridge then you can see where you at every time you go and have a beer and please don't end up on the darwin award list and try to look inside your tank with a fluid lighter :thwak: and I'm also curious why not trying to cut the arm and reattach the float instead of buying a new one??? -

wannabeMJ replied to wannabeMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
yeah after reading the whole post seems that is hand-brake is from a 97 XJ and not a 90 like I got. his doesn't go trough the floor and I would guess would be a easier fit then mine ........ guess ill have to figure something out on my own or go get a 97 one at the JY if anyone as any ideas put them in here .......... -
pedal-brake to hand-brake???
wannabeMJ replied to wannabeMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
i know i've read it to in the MJ project and he had coiled his under the carpet but I can't seem to find it again if someone knows or could post the link to it ?? -
I'm tryind to finish my interior and the only thing left to do is install the hand brake first the original pedal brake in a MJ is a cable that goes from the pedal to the spliter for the 2 rear cable but the XJ handle brake is a rod that connects to the 2 rear cable I was thinking of putting a yoke end that can screw on the rod and then attach the cable by doing a loop around and then clamping the cable on itself but I can't find a yoke end in town :fs2: so now I'm kinda stuck I'm also thinking about taking the rod out and trying to fit the cable directly on the handle as anyone done this? I need imput on this plz

well with the rain and snow we had this week I couldn"t do any work so I kept myself busy when I took out the bench seat I kind of f*cked up my seat mount so i fixed it yesterday and installed it today I had to cut the top part that atatch to the seat and redo it I used an angle bar 3/16 thick and started mocking one up here is the part that I did and the seat bracket once I've wirewheel them and painted now a couple on the seat and the fit test ...... like a glove soon Ill finish the interior by replacing the dash where it belongs and putting all the interior back in and tommorow my friend is comming to give me a hand and get the front suspension done -
