my bet on this is a plugged fuel pump(meaning you got sh*t in your tank) runs fine at idle but as soon as you step on the gaz all that junk wants to up the fuel line bloking the pick-up in the gaz tank..... -

Engine swap ideas please...

this might be a long shot but on my other forum from quebec there was a lot of talk with guys from france wich is not to far from you (read closer then america) but the guys over there were putting small diesel engine in their jeeps so I'm not sure but a 4 banger diesel could put more torque in your truck then the original 2,5L I can try looking it up and give you what models they used -

got the other manche yesterday :beerhead: it had a prestone leak but still made it to my place so I got to work and started taking everything away from underneath the bed then with the help from the girlfriend and the roommate we got the topper off then we switch box from my truck to this one then I went on to fix my cab corner fixing the rocker panel first then the actual corner hopefully it will look nice when I finish the body work also had a prestone leak from the waterpump gasket wich was installed 2 weeks ago :fs2: changed it again and still had a leak so I said f*ck it and put gasket maker instead and it worked nicely (so far) more to come soon as its a long weekend here and I will work some more sorry for the pics size -
not sure but it seems that the engine doesn't adjust to the new injectors so might wanna tchek the sensor for air/fuel mix

will a cherokee fender fit the manche?
wannabeMJ replied to shipp08's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
yeah they will fit but when I did mine I had to take the front part to as it does not attach to the fenders the same way studs instead of screws ......do a search on the forum and you should come up with some real good project post lots of people do that mod on this site
