I need to figure out an overhead console and visor upgrade. I'm not hopeful that I'll find a console for an XJ with sunroof.

My local glass shop said that they cannot cut a new piece of glass for the rear because it has to be tempered glass.

How different is the 3M Rigid Pillar foam from Great stuff window and door foam? Do the T&M latch braces weld on right on top of the factory sheet metal?

I broke off most of the studs on the steel fender flare retainers. Looks like simply drilling out the old studs and replacing with bolts would work. I assume this is common and that there is a common repair?

After converting to the full size windows, I had to use a bit smaller door speakers to have room for the glass to roll all the way down. I'm interested to see what you end up doing.

The electric tailgate lock deserves it own write up. Amazing stuff!

Thank you. I am a bit confused because I see that the plastic parts stay in the glass for other people, like in the video above. Maybe the factory washer has a feature to retain the captured nuts?
