I bet you I know what is wrong. You need to jump two pins on the NSS plug to make it think it is in neutral. I do not remember which two pins it is but they are right next to each other.

It was a sport... Don't know why I thought it was a Freedom or 60th. Very weird configuration, 2wd 4.0L Auto, Power everything, sun roof, no cruise control. I have the tag if you still need a picture of it.
-
Hell yeah... Texas truck from birth I guess!
-
I will when I go pick it up. Its a shell only.
-
I have either a freedom or a 60th parts truck that I am selling off to a friend this week... I think its a 60th though. I really don't remember as I never cared about the thing I just bought it for some parts =P

Interesting. Yeah the FJ80 is pretty clean otherwise I wouldn't even bother and would sell it as-is. I figured it was kind of a drawn out process but that is a great explanation right there.
-
How was the process to get it posted? Plan is to clean up my FJ80 and post it up this summer.
-
I don't have a problem with it.

So the theory is with switching to Syn on an old engine: Synthetic tends to have better detergents and cleaning properties than dyno oil. Old gaskets (specifically cork and rubber) tend to collect impurities that help block leaks as the gasket deteriorates. Switching to Syn will help clear those impurities and potentially make a vehicle leak more. Is it true? It has some validity in that Syn will almost certainly clean better than most dyno oils. However, if your gaskets are silicone or some sort of synthetic you probably won't see any difference in leaks.

2wd ba10 to 2wd ax15 Trans swap
Torq_Shep replied to ogjeep's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
It is an internal slave bell housing. It could easily be changed to external slave. -
Not really. The best you will be able to do is to look at the vehicles close to it in the registry excel sheet. There are, unfortunately, no known metrics for numbers of each trim.

Rear slider window seals and felt
Torq_Shep replied to ghetdjc320's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
This is the closest I can find to the felt trim. https://jjautofabrics.com/2151-universal-flexible-window-channel-3-8-wide-x-7-16-tall-sold-by-continuous-yard/ But we may end up SOL on the other part. -
Even if the other wheels were alloys? I just assumed Jeep would be too cheap to offer an alloy as the spare.
