Still plugging along with the lower body blackout. I'm happy with how it is turing out. the paint has just the right amount of dullness to mach what the factory decal/paint looked like. Took a ride with my friend after work last night out to CT to pick up a bumper for $50 and it even came with the tow hook brackets and OEM chrome hooks.... It was nice to get out for a bit after being stuck in all this time. I Know people have their favorite brand of lubricant and penetrating oils but my friend was cleaning out his garage and gave me a can of this old school Honda Pro multipurpose lube and rust penetrating oil. Man this stuff works fantastic! has anyone else used it before? It appears to have been discontinued when i look up the honda part number. -
my bad fixing! as we speak its a pain editing this lol. I just got a new computer and it took me a bit to figure out how to edit the posts with the pictures in order. should be all set now

I love telling this story lol. My wife and i bought our house two years ago and when we moved in we decided we wanted a dish washer. I found one listed on craigslist for $40 a 1996 whirlpool model. I was very skeptical but the pictures looked good so i called the guy up. After talking with him for a bit i found out he was a nicer old timer and he had built his wife her dream kitchen back in 1996 after he installed the dishwasher he called out a plumber to hook everything up the plumber informed him that their well would not be able to keep up with the demand of the dishwasher so he never hooked it up. Now I know nothing about wells and i have no idea if the guy was telling the truth but all the shelves and racks were still in the plastic wrapping and the hoses still had the factory plugs on them. I drove all the way out to his house which was in a very rural area and when i got there his wife saw that we were a younger couple and made him give it to us for free lol. I slipped him a $20 and told him it would be our secret lol. Anyway i got home and installed it and it perfectly. We essentially got a brand new dishwasher for $20.

This is me standing next to the owner and builder of this truck bob salemi. The 904 trans was found in wranglers so it bolts up to to 4.0. It was used in this application strictly for weight savings and buidability. Bob built one of the first ever 4.0 stroker motors maybe 20 years ago. My friend has it in his jeep now. -
Ask me about my NOS whirlpool unit from the 90s.

You may be correct. Pheonix graphics offered it as an add on to the kit but the ones ive seen in person (orignal) seemed to be chipped off like paint. Not sure though. -

Refinished my center caps (thanks cruiser). I started to work on preparing for the orange 4x4 decals using my 86 sales brochure as a guide. I decided to paint the lower "blackout" section, rather than doing the vinyl decals, as i don't feel i have the skill to tackle that. I decided on satin black since it seems to have a dull look. I sanded the lowe quarter back down with 400 grit after figuring out my lines. I tried to get as close to the factory lines as possible. What do you guys think? -

Pete fwiw mac tools warranties their Drill bits. I have mac at work and milwaukee at home and am happy with both. Not sure if you are looking to spend that much but its nice when a mac one breaks or gets to dull they swap it out. I don't know of any other companies that warranty bits. Not even snap on.

My boss is the guy that was outside with the beanie on. His name is Ray and he is the owner. Ive been working for him for over 10 years and hes legit the nicest person i have ever met. I would also argue that he is the most knowledgeable person i have ever, run into when it comes to jeeps (Hes on the same level as dennis collins when it comes to stuff like vin numbers/options ect)
