  1. Not sure if anyone has done it or tried it. I'm thinking about cutting out the rear wheel well of a 2 door Cherokee almost up to the window and replacing the rust on my bed. Haven't looked into it for to long but the wheel wells look about the same shape/size. Anyone know if this will work? Are they the same size/shape wheel wells? Anyone do it?
  2. i have good manual window regulators for both driver and passenger side.
  3. I have the rubicon express 5.5 inch lift on mine has the r.e. Trac bar, I have 1 ton steering with a high pinion Dana 30 with the stock steering dampner mount. It clears everything just fine. You shouldn't have a problem welding one on.
  4. Does anyone know anywhere that I can buy a set of leaf spring shackles stock high? Don't care if there aftermarket or new originals I just need a set that are new and stock highet. Thanks.

  6. Hey guys, I got a question. the guy I bought my mj from told me to only use amsoil 10w30 because that's all he's ever put in it. That stuff is so expensive and hard to find in jersey I don't want to keep changing the oil with amsoil. Should I continue using synthetic? Or does it really matter what oil I put in it? What oil are you guys running? Thanks. It's the renix 4.0 by the way

  9. that's exactly what broke on mine, a friend of mine who has a local jeep shop has a pile of them laying around.
  10. Hey guys, I'm in the middle of replacing the whole cooling system on my 89 Comanche while putting a new surpentine belt on my tensioner broke. The horizontal bolt that is used to tighten it up or loosen it, free spins now. I've looked around and can't find anywhere that sells a tensioner assembly. Anyone have any idea on where I can order one. Thanks.
  11. I have the same problem, my jeep will not go straight down the road. Looking at it, the rod that comes out the bottom steering box that has the pitman arm on it has a lot of play, you should check that. Not sure if anyone said anything about that but thought I'd share.
  12. defiantly going to try and buy that later today thank you. I couldn't find that anywhere.
  13. yes! That's exactly what I'm looking for jt I can't find one anywhere. Do you know of any were that sells them?
  14. that looks exactly like the one I just bought but doesn't fit. the ax15 has 4 bolts in it and the crossmember has 4. The mount that I took off also has the exhaust bracket.
  15. I have an ax15 out of a 94 cherokee in my 89 4.0 Comanche I am replacing the trans mount but can't find one that fits the trans mount that's in it now from the previous owner (I think it's from a ba10 or something like that) is all cut up so it would fit. Does someone make a mount for an ax15 in a Comanche? Is it something custom I would have to make? What can I do. Thank you. I would post a pic of the old mount but I don't know how.
  16. My plug is the same way, very corroded I found a thread to convert the later style harness to fit. Thanks
  17. Hey guys sorry if this is already a topic, I can't find it if it is. But I'm doing the 97+ front clip swap on my 89 Comanche and not sure what to do about the header panel wiring harness. Should I use the older one so it plugs in to the plug on the driver side or do I use the newer style harness? If I have to use the newer style harness how would I change the plug to fit the one on my jeep?
  18. I hear that dynamat works really well.
  19. I didn't know the handle was removable, The bolts where covered by a bed liner. I look the handle out and got the rods with a magnet. Thanks for the help.
  20. I finally bought my first vehicle a couple days ago and what better to start with than a Comanche. I'm loving the jeep but the 2 rods that go from the latch to each side of the tail gate fell out of their holes. I have no clue how to open my tailgate now so I can get them and put them back in. Has anyone had this problem? How can I open my tailgate now so I can fix it?
