  1. Looking to buy a wiring harness. As complete as I can get it. I have a 1989 Comanche pioneer, 4.0 renix, manual trans. Please let me know what you have. Thanks. Located in central nj. I will pay shipping if I have to.
  2. Got some more pics of it today, dual rear axle all it does is hold a huge jet dryer to dry the asphalt track and blow speedy dry away. The cab looks really clean. No sign of rust and I bet it has very low miles on it.

  5. Figured I’d share this Comanche with everyone, Wall stadium in wall, Nj just bought a bunch of the old track trucks from English town race way park including the jet dryer Comanche. Looks a lot longer than factory so I’m sure they cut and extended the frame on it. Thats all I know about it. Haven’t been able to see it uncovered yet but when I do I’ll hopefully grab a few pictures of it.

  8. Have a question for you guys, I looked around for a while and couldn’t find any answers. I need to put a front driveshaft in my Comanche. 4.0, ax15, np231. I had an adams driveshaft in there but that exploded on me. I need something to get me through the winter. Will a driveshaft out of an automatic Cherokee bolt up and be the right length? Or do I have to find one out of a manual Cherokee? Anything input helps. Thanks.

    Comanche cap

    Hey guys was wondering how much my cap would go for. It’s an eagle cap, fits perfect and it is Comanche specific. It’s a short wheel base. I don’t really want to let it go but was wondering how much Do they go for?
  10. okay every light works as it should. the parking lights work, when i turn the high beams on the blue light comes up on the cluster, when i put the blinkers on the green signal comes up on the cluster. the only things that don't work is the cluster lights and the running lights in the rear. i don't know how else to explain it. how would i check to see if the switch is bad?
  11. everything works as it should, headlights, turn signals, brake lights. when i turn the headlights on at night the tail lights don't turn on along with the gauge cluster lights.
  12. i need some help with an electrical issue ive been having. For about a month my gauge cluster (89 renix 4.0 ax15) lights have been flickering at night. not when i hit a bump just at random times. now they gauge cluster lights will not turn on at all along with my running lights. any advice on what to look into? or has anyone else had this problem in the past? any advice would help, thanks.

  14. Anyone in Nj a part of any Offroad clubs? I’ve been looking for one to join. I want to get out and meet some Jeep people but really have no idea how to start or were to look for a club. Anyone belong to one? I'm in central Nj.
  15. Hey guys I need some help, I recently replaced my clutch along with replacing the master cylinder and slave cylinder. The only thing I didn't replace is the hose going between the master and the slave cylinder. It's an 89 with an ax15 swap, internal slave. I need to find a new hydrolic line for it but have no luck finding one. The line starts with a hard brake line and fitting that screws into the top of the master cylinder then takes a 90 degree bend and goes over the brake booster towards the center of the jeep then takes another bent towards the trans tunnel and turns into a flex line. When it reaches the bell housing it goes back to being a hard brake line and takes a 180 degree Bend and meets the slave cylinder lines coming out of the driver side of of the trans. I don't have any pictures of it at the moment but I will take them if needed. Anyone know where I can buy this hydrolic line? Or even get one used from someone on here? I tried searching all the local junkyards but couldn't find one. Thanks
  16. Hey guys I need some help. Was driving down the road came to a red light sitting in 1st gear with the clutch in, it wanted to stall, right when I took off it stalled and the pedal went limp/ had no pressure. Is that a slave cylinder issue? Or what could be wrong? Thanks.

So the wiring in my jeep is getting pretty bad, along with the tired renix 4.0 I'm looking to do the dash and high output swap, I found a running and driving 98 Cherokee for $200 I want to take the engine, dash and wiring and swap it into my jeep, the donor has an aw4 but I would like to keep my ax15 I previously swapped into it. Is that a possible option to use a wiring harness that is set up for the aw4 and keep my ax15? Also can I use my existing pedal assembly or will I have to find one from a 97+? Anything else I need to know before I do the swap? Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  21. Having some wiring issues with my 89 comanche. When my headlights are off the brake lights and blinkers work fine. as soon as I turn on my headlights, my brake lights come on like I have my foot on the brake pedal and stay like that until I turn my headlights off. Also with my headlights on, when I try using the left blinker, it sticks on but doesn't blink. The right blinker is normal. Any ideas? Thanks.

  23. Sounds like I'll stick to the open window kind of a/c until I do the high output engine, 97+ dash swap in the future lol. Sounds like a lot of work to do just to take it all off in the future.
  24. So my dash is cracked and that's a pretty good excuse to take it out and swap in an hvac box that has an evaporator. Assuming that's where it is. I would like to make everything like it would be from factory. Would it be smart to round up a complete system from a Cherokee or Comanche in a junk yard or buy new?
  25. I have an 89 Comanche pioneer I6, factory no a/c. Is it possible to put a/c in my jeep? What's involved in putting a/c in a Comanche? What parts will I need? Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
