So what makes it an ax15?

S0 i think I'm going to get one out of an 89 with a transfer case and crossmember. its only 100$. I'm going to put it on craigslist when i get it and try to sell it but if not I'm just going to convert it to external and whatever else i need to do and slap her in.

My dad doesn't want another jeep at the house so I don't have any place to store it. I thought he'd be cool with it for like a week but he said no so I guess I'll have to keep looking for just the driveline not a whole jeep

Turns out that ones gone. But would cross members from Cherokees from 91-01 fit an 89 ax15? Also could I get that linkage new?

Would an 98 Cherokee work?

This is the guy that has the transmission that I'm talkin about. Should I just get this whole thing? And the extra tranny didn't come out of this one it came out of an 89.

There's a guy with a ax15 for sale 15 mins form my house for 100$. It's 4x4 and a 5 speed and come with everything. It came it if a 88 cherokee. Any thoughts

So I just called a guy about a tax15 and transfer case still bolt together and he's give it to me for 100$. It came out of an 88 Cherokee. It's all complete but has an internal Slave. I'd convert it. He said it work perfect when he took it out. The motor blew so he parted the thing out. Anyone have an input in this?

I'd like to see if a pick n pull has one near me but I can't figure out how to check there inventory

If it doesn't come with it, can I buy them? Also this guy said it needs a new clutch and it has 280k miles so I'm going to keep looking anyway
