  2. http://motionoffroad.com/catalog/index. ... ucts_id=16 anybody running this setup?
  3. i just did my track bar yesterday, i didn't really have any problems with it, but i wouldn't prolong changing it. It definitely tightened the front end up.
  4. Dust cover then, i'll probably look into upgrading both the drag link and tie rod soon
  5. Track bar went in with only a little struggle, re wiring the sound system tomorrow, and a few other little things
  6. Got the track bar in today  , a bit of a pain, but its in. Helped some, but i still get the noise when i turn it pulling out of driveways, when i'm going slow an turning sharp, still seems the the drag link to me, but :dunno:
  7. ok, no problem, just looking for some upgraded brakes
  8. nice truck, what company makes those brake rotors
  9. looks sweet, not sure how real it is, looks a lot like a challenger with a few changes, a photoshop job. Still would be sweet if they came out with these again . AMX's and Javelins are still some of my favorite muscle cars
  10. ok, i wasn't sure if you could swap out just the bushings instead of the whole end, but that is definitely going to have to be replaced. The track bar bushing is also bad at the upper mount, so the Currie bar will probably help that. I was also planning on checking the ball joints and wheel bearings while i'm at it, cause after about 40 the front end vibrates, and only gets worse as the speed increases, thanks for the knowledge
  11. finally going to be replacing my track bar this weekend, but my luck more is going wrong  . i think its with my drag link, because when i turn the wheel i here a bang that sounds like metal on metal, i looked an the bushing between the drag link and the pitman arm is shot. Also, when i'm driving and hit bumps it makes the same noise, but thats all it does is make noise. It doesnt effect my steering or anything :huh???: . i'm hoping the track bar fixes some of it, but while i'm down there i figured i would ask advice from some of you guys. o an i checked and nothing is loose, and nothing is broken from what i can tell
  12. 31's are good
  13. and the D30 is pretty stout for its size, they can handle a good amount of stress
  14. mine is SOA, and it sits about level. I haven't measured the height yet, but also you are probably going to want bigger tires once the lift is done which is more $$$, longer shocks. Stronger steering components for the larger tires, and also you have to remember what gearing you have. Theres lots of stuff to look into. I bought mine already sprung over, and am slowly upgrading everything that was left stock. If you can afford it, i would say go for it  , there are just a lot of costs involved
  15. just what i needed, appreciate it
  16. looking for some tips on changing out the smoker windows for fixed ones as it is raining again and i know there leaking :fs1: . I have heard the bottom in the door is a PITA to get to. Never tried this before, but really need to do this soon. Any tips or pointers would be appreciated

  20. thats kinda what i figured, i'm only worried about it right now because i still have carpet. once it gets warmer out an i rip the carpet out it won't bother me as much. Thanks for the info
  21. During all this rain we got here in the northeast, i found that my 92 does leak, from the good ol' vent windows :fs1: . I know these are prone to leaking, and a lot of people replace them with solid ones, but i like them too much to take them out. Has anyone gone around and sealed them up to fix the leak?
  22. no, haven't had time yet. Maybe monday i'll run it down to the mechanic and have him check them out
  23. check the build date
  24. ok... so i don't have death wobble, i get that part  . Was just looking for ideas on how to fix the front end shimmy and no i don't drive at 60 cause parts will probly start shaking loose from all the vibration :shake:
  25. o believe me i know the death wobble, my brothers ZJ was horrible, to the point where i thought i was going to instantly die, so yes i know the horrors of death wobble
