  3. ya, the rain is jus keeping me from working on it, where is the EGR valve
  4. thanks to are 2nd flood in a few weeks, haven't had any chance to figure out my weird starting/ running problem. I still have yet to clean the CPS, but i am also trying a few other ideas. Its got new plugs but i'm going to do cap, rotor, and wires. Its had pretty much everything in the fuel system replaced so i know its getting fuel. It will turn over but run really rough, kind of chug. for about 10 seconds then run smoother, however once in drive it runs rough again for a bit, sometimes to the point where it stalls :fs1: . It also sounds like a possible vacuum issue, because when there is no load on the engine, Park an Neutral, it idles higher than normal. Seems like lots of possibilities and hoping someone can pick out the right one :smart: before i go chasing this around with lots of new parts :ack: . It also has a new TPS.
  5. Same thing happened to mine, bad TPS an bad ballast resistor, the fuel pump wasn't sending enough fuel to the fuel rail. I also put a new fuel pump, filter, regulator and spark plugs too, but the TPS and the resistor did the trick
  6. o ok, thanks pete
  7. Image Not Found Is this the CPS, i just looked quick an its the only thing i could find on the bell housing. If it is, how do i take it apart, its raining right now and i didn't get a chance to really look at it
  8. Holy bumper
  9. it sounded like the CPS to me, but i just wanted to see what others thought
  10. http://richmond.craigslist.org/cto/1658345939.html a lot of money, but it looks exactly like mine, just 6 years older :clapping:
  11. :agree: , stroker would be nice
  12. went to change out the valve cover gasket today, but i couldn't get the back bolt, so i put it all back together. The only line i removed was the one running from the cover to the intake manifold, a vacuum line i think. Now when i start it, it runs real rough and then settles out, but its bothering me now, it also does this when i start it after sitting a while. CPS? not sure though
  13. all i have to say is
  14. check the TPS, thats what happened to mine

I do know that the old hubs a re a pain to get off. Just looking for some help, or whether or not i am going to try this myself or take it somewhere
