  1. Yes that wash made a huge difference! Wow the bed looks amazing, mine isn't bad but that looks almost scratch less! The bed liner worked..I bought a comanche a few years back and it looked like crap and had firewood etc in back I thought it was going to be trashed but little to my knowledge I found oil had spilled and been in bed for years ..it protected it from rust and looked amazing. Anyhow your trucks looking good man!
  2. WELCOME. Goodluck look forward to future build!
  3. OK well I have to wait for my valve train so I thought I would begin to tackle this ugly headliner ..I got some info from a few fellow jeeps on here and am pulling it out to redo, not sure how I want this done yet but will see.
  4. another picture of rear end now and the fake roll bars I made to fit.NEVERMIND THE UGLY YELLOW YAMAHAAAAAAAA GARAGE!
  5. Also just installed new headlights! Nothing fancy, I had the Chinese crap in it and decided it was time to do away and go back to what works and is reliable!
  6. Never mind floor it's dirty vinyl..I added cheap voltmeter and oil etc..I also just installed my Cabelas seat cover.Seat is redone so it won't get as dirty now!
  7. Very nice and I love the paint job..and color I might do that with my 89. Great looking mj!
  8. Yea I have lived here in this area for years. Lol yea nasty is right on the gas!! That's cool maybe we can meet up 1 day!
  9. Plus the salvage yards over here won't take a car without the tank having a hole threw it for saftey. So if you lived here u wouldn't find a good tank in yard.
  10. Have someone hit ignition switch to turn pump on as your under truck but don't start it!!!! Looks like possibly the lines or lid peice. If tank is bad get new 1 not used. Also when tank is installed I took bicycle inner tube and layed around my tank straps to keep my tank cushioned so the straps wouldn't wear on tank. There is a big Oring between lid and tank and that leaks when it gets bad or is in wrong! I also put new fuel pump in but it's not a must it's easy enough to get to as you can see!
  11. I'm actually thinking about this and have..I was going to use mainly s-10 leafs under my rear bc I'm sagging a little..I also thought about just cutting the main leafs eyes out and adding it but I would loose alot of articulation so I will probably just add 1 or 2 smaller to give a little boost and maybe discard a few others till I get it where I want it
  12. Nice job..how did u do the headliner and what did you use as far as adehesive? I plan on a expedition rack eventually myself.
  13. So nice!!!!!
  14. Happy new year! Good job and presistance!!I don't have inspections here thankfully but serves also to let ya know things you may not have known!
  15. Wow I would like a 97 swap just a huge undertaking! Especially on a 86 but can be done!!Looks Good and welcome to comanche club! I just joined back up not long ago myself.
  16. Old head and valve train..next to new promaxx head minus valve train..ordering all new valves, springs, seals. I imagine old head is fine and will keep it around!
  17. I will have to order a shift boot and I didn't add air duct under console I just cut console around my blower duct with a cutting wheel. It's clean cut and will work just as good in my opinion.
  18. Well here is a pict of my mismatch seats and console..serves the purpose..I will work on the looks later. .
  19. I agree with Keyav8r we all have different opinions and I listen to them all. Thankyou for all of them.
