  2. The buckets are much better. wow was that a manual , 4x4 drive @ one time ?
  3. Really? That's constructive criticism. It's not my truck and for some reason that comment bothers me. As Comanche Club President, I would like to apologize to you, driverdave, for the comments that were made by oregonman. Neither you or your MJ deserved it. Keep working at it, you are doing a great job!  and i want to clear up i was talking about the axles and the coils. not the paint or interior or body work or anything else . only the front end  sorry driverdave . your mj is cool .. don't mean to insult you but i have never seen that much rust in my life. . but thinking back my truck does not have much rust because i had rear and front main seals leaking on my front axle but fixed those..... and your stereo system looks kick @ s s i like the bass tubes that is a good idea i have truck boxes and they take all the room behind the seat . but if you don't want to see that i would just buy a spray can of glossy black and some heavy duty sand paper or grinder.... make it look like this Or 10x better ....
  4. i love how you have a sensor for everything. i wish i had that but i don't want to install it.

Image Not Found I'm only 22 with a kid. but ill make it . but yeah all these old school tricks to you is all new info to me. what do you guys think about the drive line should i shorten it or have a slip yolk and CV installed ?
  8. man :dunno: that is so much work. but it will look good when its done. and i love the custom rear 4 link. and the new frame. wow man i wish i had a welder and a garage .hope to see some new pics
  9. your truck rocks. i wish i could afford lockers and axles. and lol all of our comanche are moneypits :USAflag: i think you should go with a better Battery specially with all the lights and the winch. like a yellow top or red top ,OPTIMA Batteries. but other then that damn man you truck is pimp. what kind of speakers did you use for sub and side speakers. if you want to upgrade http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/ has the best prices for stereo stuff in the world.
  10. yeah its not far but i need to fix my slip yoke in my trans case and i need my drive line customized before i going full roll cage. but thanks for the offer i will keep him in mind when i get the major weak links out . thanks.
  11. True, but it keeps me outta the bars.  don't let the man keep you down.
  12. Thanks. The newspaper is fairly uninteresting story, I have a leak I can't find. I sprinkled baby powder all over the floor about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and it hasn't rained to amount to anything since. when I was working on the dash, I got tired of getting it all over me so I throwed some newspaper down. This weekend the baby powder and newspaper comes up cause I think I found the leak. I'm also installing power windows and my 'new' door panels. sweet upgrade. my freaking window handles keep on breaking 22 year old hard plastic go figure. . takes me like 5 min to turn a handle with no spiny thing.... i think i might have a leak because my carpet is always wet on the drivers side. or maybe it just never dried out when some barred the truck up past the doors .i bought this truck off craiglist so god know where the trucks has been. but i have mud in the side panels of the doors........ well it be loud if i take my carpet out?
  13. wow that is a lot of work man. i would go crazy .thank god i bought it finished .
  14. sweet jeep. maybe a machine mounted turret that would be cool  :huh???:
  15. wow man between all those trucks you might be able to put one together good luck and that solid front axle that is 2wd is crazy. whats the point of a 4 link with 2wd?.... anyways good luck man
  16. wow man i have never seen so much rust in my life. did you have this thing parked in the ocean?
  17. nice truck man you did a lot of work looks good. but whats up with the news paper carpet.?
  18. so much steel ..... your truck looks good man.
  19. nice jeep. that head liner is pimp. i don't have one anymore. it was snowing down on me. one day took off everything with a screw driver and took it down put everything back up. but its some thin still up there. i need a roll cage!.
  20. Thanks guys. and i live in Medford, oregon 541..... My wife just had my baby . he is a premie born 3 months early... so i don't have enough money for the things i need. But it would be could to meet up i have seen 2 other mj in my area worth looking @ ...... i need to get a slip yoke eliminator and the cheapest one i found locally was $220 but you guys know of a cheaper price hit me up. and i have a spare front cv drive line that I'm going customized by walker driveline. and of course that  rear Dana 35 .and later i plan to replace it with the ford 8.8" 32-spline. (((((((((((((((((((Notice the two 35C marks in the housing. The "C" stands for Custom because Chrysler bought incomplete axles from Dana.the ford axle has an 8.8" ring gear (compared to the Dana 44's 8.5" ring gear). The 8.8" axle comes in the Ford Explorer, so it's available and cheap. It's about the right width (about 1.25" narrower), and has disc brakes. An important feature of the Explorer 8.8" axle is the 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern, which will match your Jeep's pattern. At least one company (M.O.R.E.) http://www.mountainoffroad.com/ is making a weld-on conversion kit for the 8.8" axle ('95 through '01), so some of the guess work is eliminated.))))))))))))))))))))))) i don't wheel it as much as i want to because the rear drive line . but when i do wheel the tires hit the outside fenders, it rocks. . but it does great with 36" as long as i don't drive like a  hole .... and 4.10 gearing. http://www.mountainoffroad.com/ http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/tech/axle/xj_dana44_02/ Walker Drive Line Services Inc 1073 S Pacific Hwy Talent, OR 97540-6644 (541) 535-5508‎
  21. :USAflag: found it on craigslist for $1600. since spent about $2500 in repairs and fixes. when i first got it. nothing work! . no gauges no light nothing. but it runs. and i was told the front is a 6.5" lift and the rear was a 8" leaf spring axle over lift.... so after the electric mess i regeared the axles to 4.10 gears. and got the 6"drop pitman arm. and then custom track bar. and then $800 to have my clutch rebuild and new slave cylinder and some other Stuff. and the rear main and front main seals. it does not leak oil now. has plenty of power for my 36" mickey Thomson baja Belted. but it gets me to the best fishing spots and around town.... my tires hit the fenders and the frame... ..
