  1. This one was the Green 2wd? I saw it, e-mailed him and checked the ad a few hours later and it already was gone.
  2. I opted for the herculiner just because it was $80 for a gallon with the kit. My truck is far from a show truck, just want to cover up the blue in the bed with a more durable than paint finish. I probably will toss in a mat if I can find a SWB one, seems like a good idea. I still haven't had free time and a nice weekend at the same time to do this yet, sorta started the prep. going to sand out the rust and flaking paint, power wash it, prime over the areas that were rusty and then clean it off with mineral spirits or something, i'm sure we have something kicking around. lots of good advice, thanks.
  3. I purchased recently a gallon of herculiner to line my bed with. The bed is not in the greatest shape, not really rusty, but lots of bare metal showing through. I think this is the only picture I have as an exhibit: should I primer over the bare metal or just roll on the liner?
  4. I used the same flywheel, I media blasted it. I used a new clutch kit, looking for what year I used, i'll update the post if I find it. I used the same master cylinder, but I used AN fittings and a line sold from advanced adapters: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ADD-716130-60/ the bearing depends upon the year of the AX15 iirc
  5. yeah, gl man. let me know if you need some parts, I still have a few things kicking around. I did the "poorman's swaybar disconnects" today. very impressed. http://www.4x4xplor.com/homediscos.html Cost me about $10 and I had to buy the torx bit. one note: Home Depot did not have the 7/16th washers or clevis pin, Lowes did it for me. Swaybar connected on the left and disconnected on the right
  6. I don't know for sure what lengths I need, I just know that the few i have (MJ peugeot/4.0 and TJ ax15/4.0) don't work. I need the trans mount, I have a external slave AX15/NP231 mounted behind a Renix 4.0 iirc the pivot to the handle on the (MJ pukey/4.0) fits, I'll have the give it another look.
  7. Still have not gotten my hands on a linkage, had a poor excuse for a winter, so I didn't need it much, but I still would very much like one. If anyone has one, Let me know.
  8. Yep, that about does it. Got my rear window put in properly also, makes a big diference.
  9. Finally getting to taking care of the primer, only took me 6 months to get to it, getting better, haha. some progress. previous owner didn't do a good job when he painted it.
  10. Started a paint job this week. got onto the spraying color stage today. wasn't planning on camo, but couldn't get enough of the same color, so its camo.

    Jeep camp

Has anyone been to an auto show where they have the 'jeep camp' set up? Pretty good demonstrations, they had almost the whole fleet out doing laps. I got to get a ride in the new GC overland at the new england international auto show, Rides very nice. Got a video of some going over the obsticles. TCr2nZeZ-fc&sns=em
  12. Oil change today for the comanche. And i also did one on my sisters truck. Noticed something interesting. On a napa gold filter.
  13. Comanche on failblog. I don't see how this is a fail, but it might explain how i have some odd dents like that on my roof. He even put red flags on the back because it was sticking out too far. http://thereifixedit.failblog.org/2011/ ... n-his-way/
  14. I would like. 2 shortsleves. A black/desert tan And a sport gray/hunter green. Both large.
  15. I don't know how, but no cracked glass. Hood and roof got banged in pretty good. Damaged toolbox, mirror, and antenna. But nothing terrible.
  16. We had a sudden snowstorm saturday night, like 16" lost power on saturday just got it back sometime last night Woke up on sunday to this. Tree snapped off like 25 feet up. Nothing terrible damage wise, but going to see if I can get any insurance money.
  17. Sounds good. You have the transmission mounting bracket too? Sorry for the late reply. Haven't had power since saturday.
  18. still looking.
  19. Manifold bolts: only ones i used to hook the load leveler tpmwere slightly loose. Like 1/4 turn. Nothing responded to the propane. Still idling at about 1700. Same deal. I am at a loss.
  20. I used a propane blowtorch to check for vac leaks. I've never touched manifold bolts. Been fine for the past few ten thousand miles. I'll check the egr, and bolts and report back.
  21. Well, for at least a few weeks now, my truck has been idling terribly high. around 1500-1750 usually. right when I start it up, it runs fine, but after a few minutes the idle creeps up and keeps getting higher. If I shut it off to get gas or something and then start it up, it does the same thing. Idles fine for a few minutes, then gets really high. checked vacuum lines, tested 3 different MAP sensors, two IACs. I'm running out of ideas. Was running with the Vac to the MAP unplugged, runs really rich, but idles ~600 video of MAP (vacuum) unplugged: qnwC6_L860s?hd=1
  22. maybe the linkage, do you have the trans mounting stuff? I don't have that either.
  23. I need a xj/mj t-case linkage for a AX15/NP231 Also looking for a set of 4.10 axles. -HP D30 -29 spline 8.25 and sort of looking for tires in the 32-33" range, MTs. closer to NH the better.
  24. some more pictures i pulled off my ipod. AX15/NP231 media blasted flywheel, only two smaller hot spots. slave i ended up using. new windshield. AWESOME, can actually see out of it now.
