what would be a "fair" price for pre 97 mirrors?

I've seen this one in person. probably the cleanest one I have ever seen. Owner at the time said it was a 4cyl? He wanted something like 5k for it, talked for quite a while, he gave me his phone number. called me a few times afterwards. maybe it did change hands and the new owner thinks its worth more.

Looking to upgrade the front steering as that is giving me some trouble also. and a lift is still on the back burner and axles and such. took the doors off saturday morning, pretty sweet, makes the cab feel even smaller. and it is pouring out today, so I must go see about putting them back on shortly.

you might glean some information from HERE about your ratios, or if all else fails, remove the diff cover and it will be stamped on the pinion gear. to the topic of fuel mileage, I get around 12-14 city and somewhere in the very low 20s on the highway, 2wd, skinny tires, and a light foot is the key, for most of us mpg's go out the window with big knobby tires and heavy bumpers and driving styles.

everything seems tight save the steering stabilizer, looks like a bushing is gone on one end. tie rod looks like its bent also, and definitely steering box noise. going to do u-joints in the read drive shaft eventually, and I know the shocks are on their way out, but I want to hold out on them until I get the rest of a lift kit.

my oil pressure gauge has been pegged for some time now, I thought it was a faulty sender as I put a used one in when I did the full gauge cluster upgrade, but I replaced it recently with a new one and it still is pegged. any ideas? seems to be running fine.

Bottom right? It is the knock sensor, should be on the drivers side of the block. Mine was smashed also, there are replacements. Don't remember the p/n off the top of my head. looking for a fresh lower miles renix 4 liter. mine is very clapped out, leaks everything there is to leak and is making lots of top end and some bottom noise. closer to nh the better.

Which noise? There are a few, one when you turn the wheel back and fourth and another when I hit a good bump that seems to come from the drivers side. The steering noise is more of a knocking or clicking sound, and the bump noise sounds like something is bottoming out.

I checked them a while ago, they seem tight. The axle shifts from side to side if you turn the wheel back and fourth. There is a clunking from the steering box area also. Must be a combination of a lot of things wrong.

Not recently. It has a D30 from an '03 tj so they shouldn't be too bad. I'll check tomorrow when I replace the universal joint.

Yesterday I hit a pothole really hard, probably like 8-10" deep going ~35mph. I usually avoid it, but it was rainy and at night, couldn't see it, drivers side clipped it good. MJ is making a new sort of noise, seems like its contained on the drivers side. Only happens when I go over bumps and it is much worse when I go over bumps whilst accelerating. did I blow out my shocks? they don't bounce or anything, but when i yanked them around it seemed like the rods were loose. I Know my rear universal joint is bad, that is probably contributing to the problem, the rear axle always seems like its loose, much worse lately.
