  4. same thing happened to my step mom . she called dad and he said to keep gpin just watch for a temp lighty. her car had a gauge. that engine now has either a blown had gasket or cracked head because a light never came on so she didnt stop lol

  10. i have a 1992 big bear 350 its getting rough around the edges but other than 2 completly wasted front balll joints(180 CDN appiece) and a front d shaft going bad its a great bike. the only thing tho. i payed 1700 for it last september, complete wit busted up plastic arount the gas tank, the rear rack looking like a mushroom, and some PO welding the shfter to the transmission shaft. the thing runs awsome puulls darn near anything and with some not bald tiers it would go anywhere. the only thing not to like about it is that parts are REALLY expensive. i think that shaft i need is something like 1500 $. its also kinda a PITA to work on but ive seen worse. but that bike looks to be in really nice shape. nice find. good luck and i wanna see pics of it in use.

  12. "the plugs were ancient looking" just because a plug is old doesnt always mean there bad. in dads tractor we replaced the original 1955 plugs with noew ones twick and none worked as good as the originals. and the originals are still in her.

  14. WD - 40 is not penetrating. It's a lubricant. You need to use Penetrating Blaster. i know i just don't have any .it helps a bit....

  16. i just used the BFH a few times pluse heat plus a full can of WD40 which did nothing...
  17. Mail delivery people usually prefer a RHD vehicle, and RHD XJ's aren't the easiest thing to come by. Almost all privately owned mail delivery vehicles I see are either XJs or KJs. okay i understand now. the original RHD xjs are actually pretty cool. i just don't ig the conversion..

  20. you do know that you can't use the stock spring pads on the xj axel. there to narrow you need to put then at the same width as the mj ones. but good score nonetheless

  23. for starting if you "peeling" out than you need to lower your rpms a little bit before releasing the clutch. and when you do release the clutch do it semi slowly and smoothly not just one big drop because that can make you spin to. for stopping make sure your pressing the clutch in or no matter what ya do you gunna stall. anyway good luck and tell us how ya do.
