64 Cheyenne

I got "Mojo" about 8 yrs ago when he was just a little s**t. He is an australian shep. red heeler mix.AKA mutt. Really enjoy heelers, super smart,but I can't say that we haven't had our go rounds a time or two. Main thing was when he was a puppy, it took him a while to learn that he was bottom dog in our "pack". He nipped my daughter a time or two.It was real funny when he realized that when she cried he was in trouble. Mojo is such a big part of our family/pack I couldn't have ever asked for a better dog.Yeah, heelers like to chase and run but Mojo has been a house dog his whole life,actually if i could read his mind he would just be happy to be with his pack no matter what or where he lived or was doing. Far as other dogs go.......having a dog that can clear the tailgate on his own, and being able to show how happy he is because he "gets to go".........Priceless! I'm getting ready to do my 2wd to 4wd conversion on this. I wasn't looking forward to the thought of removing the BA-10, then installing an AX-15/231 TC by my self. Thought I might have to either borrow or buy a tranny jack but then I came up with this idea, why not use my ATV jack like this http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/ ... _200326249 Has anybody done this before, what are the pros/cons.I think I'llsupport the combo with blocking and a ratchet strap, what do you think?

Hmmmmm......... :smart: As being an enrolled Northern Cheyenne,our tribe went threw something similar many years ago with the Chevy Cheyenne package. We got over it. Actually I think it's a little Korney ,but WTH.I'd suggest a few small changes like moderators should be "chiefs", and a get together is a "pow- wow".Only thing that I feel is a little touchy about is the "smoke lodge" thing. too many people have misconceptions about our native spirituality,mainly about smoking (P....E) in our sweat lodges, we don't do that. we don't smoke (P....E)in any kind of lodge, ever! How about council lodge or something like that.Actually I like it, with a few small changes it would be great! Matter of fact,if anybody runs across any of those Cheyenne badges I'd be interested in making a deal for them. Things I've done so far Plugs & wires Cap & rotor new water pump upper/lower radiator/heater hoses changed oil and filter new air filter housekeeping underhood parts that I've bought (or have) that need to be installed.depending on time and weather. full cluster and headlight switch--Done! All lights work properly carpet buckets slider back window door gaskets spray in bedliner for floor stainless pickup mirrors (Here in my neck of the woods our MJ's are pickups,Trucks have air brakes and multiple axles) full cattle guard winch mount rollbar w/6" round generic lights 6"coils adj lower ca's extended uppers longer f/shocks 33" treadwrights 15x8 chrome cragars 4.10 HP D30 w/cad 8.8 W/LSD AX-15 w/ext slave installed 231tc installed input/output seals for tranny and tc installed valve cover gasket yoke style pinion, 8.8 axle mounts/brackets 4.10 gears Pretty much all I need now is f/adj track bar rear shocks And,TIME! hopefully I'll get some of this done before I go back to work next month this is all just a start, I'll be posting pics :yes: soon as the build progresses.

I'm good then! I got the tranny mount from the xmember up. I also got all the tcase linkages from the AX-15. Cool, Thanks for the info . Now all I need is warm weather as I'm a card carrying member of shade tree Intnl.

I'm getting ready to pull the puke,replace with an ext. slave AX-15.can I reuse my old crossmember, or should I go back to the JY and get the crossmember from the AX-15.Or if not can I make my old CM work? whoops! this should have been in the Tech section.

Are you saying I have to use the crossmember from the xj that my tranny came from? or can I make the ax-5 crossmember work?

alright...................So what does the acronym FML mean? :hmm:

Could valve seals cause this condition? :hmm: as this is what is happening with my 4.0 and it only has 130k on it.

:hijack: I found a set in the Rezyard,I didn't want to pull them right away bc I was afraid of breaking them,didn't know what would break if I did (tabs maybe?) so how should I attempt to get them out wo messing them up?
