  1. check the symatics in the manual off of GLXJ.com
  2. They said in the articale they adjusted them down as to not blind the cars going by, But I love bright lights, but checked out the ssite or the HID wiring,(electrosport) they are for off-road trucks and like $400 for the kit to. But why not put them on a light bar in the middle of bumper and run them for off road? JT did the owners before you take them out, or did they even come with them?
  3. For him maybe but he has to have a friend, of course I've been wrong before.
  4. Like $10 from jy and can just replace it, can use an xj one as well as long as it is pre 91.
  5. JT you need to stay on topic, Pete no like cleaning up all your posts! :rotfl2: :waving:

  8. Simmer down now just messing with you. It's all good. C'mon now it's pretty much Friday, drink a beer on me It's not so much that the wiring can't handle the load but why only going half way with the upgrade, your doing it for better lighting, so upgrading the wiring will help in aide in this as well as a precaution to keep your rig from lighting up like a sonic fireball!
  9. :Canadaflag: VS :USAflag: :shake: Here WE GO!
  10. pitman arm puller? :hmm: What's that? :dunno:
  11. BS! It be a pain in the butt, but you can change out the fuel pump on the side of the road. and really only a few thing holding the tank up so could just drop it and take it with you and fix it then put it back in. But first I'd check the pump, take a set of jumper cables hook them up, crawl under the truck pull the fuel pump plug and take the hot and negative and test the pump, gator clips works good for this, this will tell you if the pump is working or not to ensure this is the issue and not a break in the line from there. Gotta work from point A to B. meatgrinder13, I'm thinking not being he said he broke down in a place he could not be towed.
  12. I was just reading in the JP Jan 09' mag about the H4 HID upgrade, Looks like I will be going this out being it has all the wiring for the kit which makes quita a difference, like upgrading the battery cables. Of course it is pricey so it depends on your needs and overall goal. http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticles/ ... index.html http://www.electrosport.com
  13. filled up at 1.59 today cause the other station went up to 1.79 so may need to look out on gas prices going up again.

  17. See don't you love it when you build everything up to damn near where you be wanting to go then to get a new set of tires and have to start all over again with the axles, but I'm not dropping tire size, so off to look for a 6o's or 60/14 set up or something. Go big or go home is what I like to say!
  18. How about truss the 30 with some 44 knuckles/ lockout hubs and some alloy shafts? I'm a lightfoot when it comes to wheeling, so you think this set up would work?
  19. for that price I can get a dynatrac fully locked up one with all the goodies too. Wow. Been doing alot of reading and seems like there is alot of fab work involved in the 44's and not so much the 60, so I'm trying to find prices on 60's, f-250/350 78-79 year range I would guess whould be my best bet? :dunno: Any comments on that?
