Well got me a new dd that has no rust, very solid. However will not be swapping over to it going to cut the top off the other and cage it. New DD... Then my rough layout for the cage, thinking of going with the idea of the hummer look with a small rhino lined cargo/bed and canvas just around the sitting and either half doors or tube doors. Then the cage tied into the front and rear bumpers and rock rails. Box out the taillights adding led's then tubing the fenders. Any advice please give being I only know that triangles are strong, any help with what type and size tubing, and what to incorporate into it and all that. This will now be my straight up trial rig however will still be making it to be able to drive to the trails.

Glad to see to got her out, now be sure to soap on there to help slide the upper piece in, then put gasket sealant on the seal ends and oil the lip per install you wouldn't want to do this again a month down the road. :thumbsup:

Just gotta keep tapping it. I had mine hang up on me as well, but ensure you get the punched lined up with the metal in the seal and tap away. Don't be scared to give it a good wack. the seal will break loose. Then if you try turning the crank add some oil to it that way when it rotates it can help lube the seal.

the just seal all it, gas & oil resistant one, cake the heck out of it , then coat the it with truck bed liner.

Hey my old man just installed a nifty delay wiper switch deal on his toyota. Came in a kit and you just wire it in and you control the delay by that. Thought it was pretty cool.

You mean the 2-door Bushwhackers? Yeah, they might work, because they are intended to go on an XJ after you open up the stock wheel opening. On an MJ I guess you would need to trial mount them first and mark where they extend to, and then see how much material you can actually trim. It will be less than on an XJ. It's an expensive experiment if they don't fit, though. how's the clutch? How's the CPS? Fuel Filter?

Didn't know that could still work with out the speedo working? Perhaps just the tech is broke.
