see I understand exactly, which is why they have the unibody tie in brackets, as to make it like a reese hitch mount, however, I still no like that either, but I'm plating the whole frame and will be adding plate to the bottom of the frame rail, and as well will have a full plate cover both frame rails and protecting the gas tank as a intergrated skid, and with that added beef, it will sure to please even you CW.

Well got the rear bumper on, went on easy as hell. very impressed as always with Jcr's Offroads products.

got new rear bumper tonight off to test fit it. :D

Well ditching the 8.8 plan for the rear, for a D60. Picking up the D60 with it shaved and trussed already and comes with one 35 spline moser shaft 5x5.5, then putting in a full spool and doing a disk brake setup on it. So that's the last major change in the plan. :yes:

here are some pics of what I got done before all the BS with the cars, gas tank painted up, stock springs next to new lift springs, and my rock lights for the underside of the jeep.

i know, i try. :D Well got held up due to some stupid car breakage so have yet to get materais for the floors, and school started today, so hopefully get time this weekend.

do you think i should? i had no plans to. I would say so, may be over kill but why not. On my last jeep I added the outside and inner plates on the passengeside and added crushsleeves to it as well to mimck the the steering box side setup.And it is what I\'m doing to the new jeep as well just to have the added beef and less worrying of failure, not much to to do it as far as time or money so why not?

I mean in terms of perhaps a truss or even some bracing on the C's or maybe some heavier buckets or brackets, i mean in gernal stiffing on the over all axle or just going to run it realtivly stock and fix from there?

are you adding plates to the inside of the frame on the passenger side as well?

looks good. You goint to stiffen up the axle at all though?

the gas tank will be fully boxed in and enclosed from the rest of everything. The battery will be straped down right in front like in pic.

I added some speakers to the kick panel in the floor corner and that helped alot, also allowed me to remove the doors for the tube doors and still have front speakers. :thumbsup:

Well got some stuff done today. Cleaned up the frame a little bit and got some paint inside the frame rails and good to go now for the metal to go in, so pick that up later this week. Then did some messing around with the rear to get an idea of how things will be set up in the back. Old man got me a couple things for Christmas... 925 CCA at 0* gel cell paint used, $30 for a gallon at menards. cleaned up with flap disk then painted Set up the rear for mounting ideas, keep in mind the basket is just the idea as it will have a rack just above the gas tank and the gas tank/battery will be boxed in. fill neck be moved to here, battery will be put in front of gas tank for room for the cage foot in the back, then cleaned up the hubs and switched to the warn lockouts from the stock Ford lockouts,

Well took a break from the jeep and delivered some parts I sold, and ended up getting started on my new arm sleeve, which I went for something simple and ended up starting my arm sleeve, :shake: It is of my second daughter, Izabella Marisol, this one wasn't as bad as my first daughter's tattoo on my stomach, that hurt like hell. :wall: Where I got my tattoo at or from... http://www.myspace.com/johnny.ballz

well got paint and some grinder stuff to get the floors prepped for new stock. Found a sheet of stock for $45. so should be all set. Practice some welding, so I now have an understanding of what a weld is suppose to look like. So will get things preped and get the metal next week to start redoing the floors.
