i tried looking online, any one have done it and know a diy? mine is fubar so i am getting a new one tomorrow, my transimission is for the 2.5L and doesnt have a tcase

taking genovast's advice, go buy the $7 seal XD fixed my oil leak, when me and my friend put it on, he didnt make sure the gasket was on properly o_O another good reason to do all the work myself, so i know for certain it gets done, up to my standards atleast :D going down to buy a output shaft seal for my ax-4 will post some pics after its installed

transmission is not leaking, its puking, has something to do when i snapped the bolts off in my rear diff, I'm debating if i wana buy the 4.0L HO motor with an AX-15 Tranny

my tranny is leaking from where the yolk goes in, can this be fixed? or should i go ahead and buy the 4.0L HO engine with ax 15 tranny?

got her insured no longer have to worry about breaking down on the side of the road

ahh i see what you mean now, good idea but id rather my straps fail instead of my pinion gear/shaft :oops: lmao when the time comes to replace it i will XD keep that as a spare in my glovebox with a bottle of brake fluid and lots of extensions XD

is there a thread that shows what you mean? :P and how costly is it? since i have a dana 35, i don't want to spend alot of money on it

the carnage! the tools me at work (only got a pic of me because i had a helper who got ahold of the camera) my helpers feet, this is relevant because my coveralls are in the picture parts got the broken bolts out all finished back into her spot :) lol new problem, slight tranny leak now i just need to re-adjust my e-brake :P and fix that leak

back a step :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: snapped the bolts off my rear diff, driveshaft spun everywhere, now i need to get it towed to shop :ack: so far ive torched the broken bolts, they expanded a bit, so it should come out easier, going to pick up an left handed bit and get that guy outta there, hopefully i can get it done at the end of my driveway, but no promises XD

today i went to autoshop and i removed the my mismatched tires off my rims and threw on some goodyear wranglers, took me about an hour to remove, wirewheel the rims for rust on the edges, put new tires on, and balance them. by the time i had all my tires ready to be balanced another person in the shop wasnt even finished balancing his first tire, so i made him get off so i could do mine XD poor guy had some beat up 33's that were just... not balancing, XD off with the old on with the new lol this is quite interesting, :shake: had to beat one on permanent resident to my vehicle until i get some more lug nuts, i beat that sucker on just to get my tire off, never can be to careful, got 3 tool kits behind my seat too hmm i need to fix this, P.O didnt put the hinges back in when he painted, off comes the dash again time to install a stereo, hmm the wires were FUBAR so i abandoned them mounting it and finished :) speakers in, and ready to go now not only does it make lots of noise and drive, it has music as well :D

found some old pics from way back, never uploaded them from when i first started the thread now for an update gave my trucks engine bay and bed of the truck a good pressure wash, before after all clean :) and when i was cleaning i found i didnt screw in a bolt on my transmission :eek: up on jackstands again :D all my spare rubber XD bout time to swap em and my new breaks (bit weathered) and this is my shifter that I'm welding on getting paint thinner to reveal the chrome stripping the P.O painted over bling bling welding these cracks up at my friends house once i got it insured more to come :)

fixed it, when it stalled it pulled the posi cable off and welded itself to my starter, frying my batt completely

exactly it fixed it 10 mins before i seen your post :D thanks for the input

new problem, i was teaching my sister how to drive my 4 speed, she was pretty rough on it, and she stalled going up my driveway and something fried under my hood and my ground wire was mega hot same with the battery, something was smoking, now it has no power at all i need to fix it fast so i can get it off the side of the street, for it has no plates on it

I'm not the greatest driver when it comes to standard but here it is :) as i promise video of it running the very first time under its own power my stands kicked out from the back of my tires, :D you gotta really pound on the clutch but it should work itself out now that my truck runs, i think its about time to go get ready to go graduate it took me 1 1/2 years to get this truck finally running again

so i got some more stuff today at lordco, they sold me a bottle of dot 3 that was pre used :nuts: that cheapo brake line bender i got works better than the bluepoint one i used before! simple but confusing at times installed will post pics on my clutch line tomorow, and hopefully a vid of it driving off the stands

look what arrived in the mail today :yes: once I'm done with my graduation rehersal :smart: i will go down to lordco and get some brake fluid, a grease gun, and some brake line, and bleed it the completley sure way, then i hope to god this settles my trucks clutch problem :D

atleast the drive shaft didnt go flying into your gas tank :D
