grind er down, get rid of the brittle metal, and either put good stuff in, or bondo

clutch is fine, i try to start in neutral, and it makes the noise as if my flywheel was allready spinning and i tried to engage it yea i know how to do one of those XD tried to do one of em when my truck had no clutch and the battery terminals were fubar i just drove my truck up onto the jacks and I'm going to take a look, lot you guys know what i find :thumbsup:

bump, any one?? its getting bad, i almost wasnt able to get it started to get it back home

lol find out what it is, so i can fix mine as well :yes: :shake: i had a leakey lifter seal, used make a gasket, then the gasket, then make a gasket, any other way i tried didnt seal it properly, now that one is fixed, i have the leaky oil pan seal, (did you baby the seal? ) if you give it any wrong force it will go fubar and u gots to start out new

just recently ive been trying to start my jeep, and when the starter engages, all i can hear is the flywheel being ground the the starter spindle, how can i fix this?

make sure no excess sand is left in the intake :thumbsup: and lets see pics :P :yes: even pics of what your going to work on will do, just need more XD :shake:

totally worth it, i was grinning ear to ear when i drove it the first time, 4 clutches 2 clutch lines, some odds and ends and 2 years of tinkering and i drove it off the jacks :yes: so for 2 years i havent even driven the thing and i was completely obsessed with it 8) gj with ur rust repairs and lookin good so far :thumbsup:

kept my jeep faith strong spent many hours of well spent time learning so much, and getting to see everyones rides :D and being able to express my ocd with fellow ocd inflicted people :) :yes:

my int light as promised, just a simple battery powered swivel light you can get at wally world for ~$10 :thumbsup: (and yes i have to wire wheel that factory glue(rust) off, and neutralise it^^) hauling more wood the pile so far(about 5 truck loads is there, still gots a load in my truck) and that was just the first wood pile :shake: she worked hard, so i think she deserves a treat :) got some the covers for the speakers, had fun gettin em on, covers my door up a bit better :rotf: as allways more to come :D

think its about time for an update :D installed an int light, will have pic of it in daylight tomorrow :chillin: got some fluids for her part of my leaking powersteering donor vehicle :D and putting her to work, first load uppon many too come, didnt even make a dent in the pile, and there is 3 of them

lol i believe it does :yes: i would deff use a chem based neutralizer for the rust after grinding just to make sure, because ur using por-15 you want to make there no question that rust will form, imho 8) and wow that stuff looks amazing

don't forget to use coca-cola to neutralize that other rust :thumbsup: spill some on and your good :yes:
