  1. lookin good looks like you need a new shop once the suspension goes in that is :P looks like a tight fit allready xD
  2. went to pick n pull today, found a comanche!! took pics of it, got the vin, will post in data base, but look what i got :clapping: the other pics are on a cellphone having issues getting transfered over, i spent the last mins of her life with her XD literally :ack: i only had enough time to get the taillights, then they picked her up with there forlift and tossed her into the crusher :(
  3. try a hi-lift, pop it right out
  4. got it fixed :D some how i was missing my highbeam wire, so i spliced one into the system, put a new heavy duty blinker fuse in for a waste disposal truck XD found a melted part of the fuse box with a blown fuse, but we were able to jam a fuse in all in under 2 hours :D
  5. took my truck down to my sisters bf's dads work XD fixed my blinkers hazards breaks and highbeams, the fuse box was melted, jammed a new fuse in there XD fixed blinkers and hazards and breaks, then worked on the light, missing a wire in the wiring harness o_O so we spliced a new one in :D didnt want to look for the old one :P all that cost me to get it fixed was fuel in my tank and a bottle of gear oil for my tranny sorry no pictures  i didnt bring a camera with me but no more electrical problems, just need to fix my leaky output shaft... again XD going to a wrecker to find an original seal because i don't like messing around with the new metal ones,
  6. lol once again you made me lol :rotfl2: :rotf:
  7. don't give up, i had clutch problems for 1 1/2 years, i bought 3 clutches and 2 slave cyls, 3 clutch lines, 2 master cyls maybe they gave you the wrong size clutch disc? there are two sizes, did you check your old clutch plate to the new clutch plate? my truck is said to have the 9 11/16 clutch, but in reality it has the 9 1/8 clutch, it was made in 86 but the clutch was for 87+ also try slamming it into first when you have the clutch engaged, i had to literally slam my shifter into first to get it to engage the first time, now it works fine :)
  8. okay ill get that too :D (edit:lmao wait thats what i meant for highbeam XD thought it didnt look right :shake: )
  9. i used the original wiring harness edit: i noticed that the brakes are on all the time once i pull the highbeam/dimmer they turned on and stayed on, i am going to replace my highbeam switch, my fuses and my hazard/turnsignal blinkers on my fuse box
  10. my ignition has a baaaad tumbler, takes a bit to turn the key over some times, and my highbeam switch works, even the highbeam light on the dash pops on, just no highbeams (lows work, and dimmer on dash works), i upgraded my front grill from an 86 to a 92, could it have diffrent wiring for the highbeams? or highly unlikely?
  11. grounds as in sockets? checked driverside ground, ran a new ground directly to the frame from the battery, checked the fuses they are all in tact, should i check all the other light sockets?
  12. the P.O patched everything out except for that part, it was inevitable i guess i only prolonged it, gives me an excuse to buy a welder and get my service upgraded for a plugin
  13. :headpop: lifted up my floor mats too find... seems like this damned rust ate my anti rust paint for breakfast lunch and dinner XD looks like i gotta get replacement floor pan XD previous owner put one in too
  14. epic fail, i previewed it instead of posting XD new one on the right lube :) in-place and driveshaft back in all filled up new gasket took a while but i got it in, not without messing it up first :fs1: , it has a little drip but it is driveable no leaks when driving, thats what i was looking for :D (EDIT: seems like leak is very little, no drips, just a bit of forming around the seal) trying to fix my highbeams dash hazards and blinkers so out with the old in with a few fixin vacuum lines thats right, clear  my old hot tub pump died so i used its clear vacuum lines and replaced what i could with clear ones, first comanche with clear vacuum lines doesnt look good? :???:
  15. lol XD just wait i got lazy yesterday and didnt upload the photos, and i was at a private beach partying the day before uploading them as i type
  16. they are all out, what could cause this? could it be the cleaning of the wiring harness that goes onto the front grill did something?
  17. :headpop: got the same part again, people at lordco saying that it would work, ofcourse it won't... because its not for my transmission, thank you, i brought that number in this morning just as a fail safe, I'm glad i did, i told them i wanted that number and they were like what for?? grrr :fs1: so... yet again tomorrow i will finish this thing, thanks again kastein in advanced, i hope that part will work for me :D
  18. only one i got man, otherwise i gotta drive into a diffrent town, and i get 30-50% discounts
  19. i thought doubble flared lines don't require o-rings? and doesnt dot fluid swell/destroy the rubber?
  20. the people at lordco are just "Smart" S-M-R-T :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: people at lordco in vancouver are ever smarter, they thought it would be a good idea to throw the wrong part into a box and send it out, so when i went into lordco they told me someone pulled a fast one and just threw it in the box I'm begining to be very very very annoyed, so.... once again ill be waiting till tomorow to get my seal, and will install it after work
  21. tried a flathead first, went back to lordco for a seal puller, out in 5 seconds :D going to pick up the seal now, and when I'm off work ill post more pics :D
  22. back down to lordco, for the billionth time in a row, ive been there daily, they don't have my transmission seal so its being shipped up from Vancouver so it should be here by the morning time, and once I'm off work i will install the seal, and post more picks, as well as a DIY for AX-4 output seal replacement
  23. not installed but... I'm begining to think lordco people don't really know what they are doing, they gave me the wrong seal so i got pics of half the seal replacement done. its pretty simple, just need a seal puller and well the seal, and gear oil reading my trusty repair manual :huh???: :shake: i know unheard of right? parts and tools leaky seal my new fold-able creeper i got for $10 another random pic of me, workin on my truck as soon as i woke up, lol no more oil leak driveshaft out all cleaned up and seal out and now time to put in the n.... wait a minuite... I'm pretty sure that that isnt the right seal so time for some random pics, rotten rocker, the paint is holding the rotted metallic rust (metallic because more rust than metal) and driveshaft yolk? more too come, :D
