The only reason i want to do this. Is because the transfercase hits the floorboard when i give it gas and shift. i replaced the trans mount and i did bend the floorboard up. Something else i changed both the motor mounts now my dw went away.
There is the speedometer cable crankposition sensor the back up light plug and right above that there is another plug that was pluged in on the90 ax4. It is not onthe 98 ax5.
I just did this conversion and i did not have any problems. So when i hooked all the wires up the ax5 did not have one of the sensors on it like the ax4. Going from 1990 1998. Sorry idont have picture but is on the passenger side with to small studs sticking out
Is there a write up on the wirering for the power windows,mirrors and door locks. Also did 1990 comanches have power windows,mirrors and power locks and would it be pre wired from factory. thanks
but everything else should be the same then .Also when i get my rear driveshaft cut down can i use the 1990 driveshaft or will i have to use a newer one. thanks
I started taking apart clutch mastercylinder (1990) and compared with the new one (1998).They are to differant sizes about 1 1/8 differance. Is there anyway i could get a custom made line so i can use 1990 master cylinder.
