The only reason i want to do this. Is because the transfercase hits the floorboard when i give it gas and shift. i replaced the trans mount and i did bend the floorboard up. Something else i changed both the motor mounts now my dw went away.

What is the good and bad off dropping the transfercase one inch.

So would you recomend changing both sides or just the side that is sagging. Passenger side side sags about 1 1/2 -2 inches than drivers side.

Will the long bed springs sit any higher with extra weight of the bed.

Is the long bed springs the same size as short bed springs (leaf springs)

What years will fit. I have a 98 transmission and a95 transfercase. Also is there a differance between a 6 and4 cyld transfercase linkage. thanks

I just converted from 2wd to 4wd. It is hitting on the drivers side. Everything shifts allright just a bad vibration were the tc is hitting

Can i grind some of the tc housing off so it will not hit the floor.

There is the speedometer cable crankposition sensor the back up light plug and right above that there is another plug that was pluged in on the90 ax4. It is not onthe 98 ax5.

I just did this conversion and i did not have any problems. So when i hooked all the wires up the ax5 did not have one of the sensors on it like the ax4. Going from 1990 1998. Sorry idont have picture but is on the passenger side with to small studs sticking out

I am asking the wrong question then. I have 97+ doores on a 1990. Is there a link on how to wire the 97+ doores to a 1990.

Is there a write up on the wirering for the power windows,mirrors and door locks. Also did 1990 comanches have power windows,mirrors and power locks and would it be pre wired from factory. thanks

Is there any differance between a 1995 and 1998 transfercases.

Is the speedometer and gear sensor the same on two wheel drive as four wheel drive.

What is the hole in the outside of the rear retainer. It has some kind of fork around it and it is a 1995 tc. Sorry no picture

One more question. Did jeep ever come out with a factory heavy duty clutch for 2.5. I am only going to run 31s. thanks

I started taking apart clutch mastercylinder (1990) and compared with the new one (1998).They are to differant sizes about 1 1/8 differance. Is there anyway i could get a custom made line so i can use 1990 master cylinder.
