  1. This morning i replaced 02,fuel filter,and fuel pump. Still have same problem anything else i can check thanks

  3. I have a 1990 2.5. It starts and idels good. When i get on the highway it starts cutting out but still idels good. Any ideas thanks

  5. I have a 1998 231 4.0 ax15. When i turn or start to take off there is a clicking sound. I thought it was the axel joint or hub assembly so i replaced. Took out for test drive same clicking noise. Put transfercase in 4 high clicking noise was gone. Any ideas of what it could be. thanks
  6. air filter is 2 weeks old and the pvc you are talking about is it supposed to be just a elbow or is it a elbow with some sort of valve in it going to the air cleaner.
  7. I have oil in the throttle body. Started to run rough on the way home. I thought it was the manifold gasket again so i took of the air cleaner tube and seen the oil. Any ideas thanks

  10. Manifold is good. The bolts keep backing out. I tourqued down for the 4th time. Any ideas PLEASE. thanks
  11. I took manifold off and replaced with new one also.
  12. Changed manifold gasket today and yes it was burned out on the bottom. I drove around all day no ticking parked it for about an hour started ticking again. Tighten everything down again drove around the block no ticking. I let it cool off went to get something to eat started ticking again. Haynes manual says to tourqe 22lbs. Is this correct or am i doing something wrong. Thanks

  14. How do you tell if the manifold gasket is bad once it is of the vehichle.
  15. Yes just tighten all bolts on manifold. Also just got a new converter and muffler so i know that is good.
  16. I have a 1990 2.5 tbi. I have a exauste leak from manifold area it only ticks when higher rpms so i am thinking it is gasket. My question is if it was a cracked manifold wouldnt it tick at all rpms.
  17. I was bored today so desided to switch shocks from left side to right side. Drove acouple miles started nose diving on the side i switched shocks. they are doethch shocks. Any opinions what new shocks to buy. thanks
  18. Just curious on the teraflex longarm it shows just two longarms and two brackets. Is there anything else that goes with the kit.
  19. No i checked that to everything is tight. I wonder since i do not drive it that much i am used to driving the other with the four link set up.
  20. I will try to get some pictures. Shockes are about 3 months old. Also there is nothing bolted to the factory upper control arm mounts on the axel left ar right side
  21. I have the two lower long arms. Then for the third arm back then they called it a tourqe arm. It goes from middle of drivers side long arm to the coil spring base to bracket that is welded on. Sorry i do not pictures
  22. I have one of the old long arm kits the 3 link. The flex is awsome. Over the last couple of months i have noticed the front end wants to nose dive on the passenger side I was wondering if i could put upper control arms back on in the factory location. Would this help keep the front from nose dive.
