  1. pictures would be nice, the ones in the link are kinda hard to tell what's been cut and all that so wait a minute, if i do the removeable doors i'll cause a seal issue when you close the door? Redwolf
  2. i've seen a few MJs on here with no doors but never a thread on how to remove em, it's gonna be a really hot summer for me in VA and i have no AC so any air flow i can get i take, i'm lookin for a way to take the MJ doors off but still able to put em back on, kinda like wranglers doors but without the hinges on the outside of the vehicle, if anyone has a method of how they did it and pictures of what was done that'd be great Redwolf

  4. if diesel is an oil how does it burn so well in engines but engine oil doesn't burn? Redwolf

  6. so just slosh the jug out with gas, would that clean out the diesel completely? Redwolf
  7. i wanna clean it, there's enough to cover the bottom in a thin thin layer and it smells horribly like diesel fuel it's a military jug so its a OD green color and how can i got from diesel to gas but not gas to diesel, wouldn't the gas fumes mix with the old diesel fumes and ignite like goin for gas to diesel? and how do i go about cleaning it, Redwolf
  8. so i've googled cleanin out a diesel fuel jug/tank and i get nothin close to what i'm wonderin just idiots that have put diesel fuel in their gasoline engines but i was wonderin if i had a diesel fuel jug if i could possibly wash is out and use it for spare gasoline? Redwolf

  11. how do those mount up? i know i have what seems like a lot of stupid questions but i'm new to the hooks on the front of any vehicle, Redwolf
  12. gotta link cause i feel like what i googled is not what you're talkin bout, and i have the back plate that the bolts thread into so the frame would be in between the hook and the back plate, Redwolf
  13. i don't know what class i got but i have the orginal bolts from the hooks and i got 4 new ones from lowes outta the drawers for meteric and nuts for the bolts, Redwolf
  14. so i was out at pick n pull again today cause i saw they had those hard to find turbine rims but some idiot left the wheel locks on em but i ended up gettin the hooks off the front of a ford f150, has anyone ever mounted these onto their MJ or somethin along the lines of the hooks as tow/ recovery points? Redwolf

  17. that is a sweet idea for the jugs and ammo boxes, i might have a few ideas on how ya can mount/bracket those but i'll have to see it when we play wire the trailer wirin later this week, Redwolf
  18. Tighten the BRACKET. LOL. i second the track bar to frame mount, that was my issue after replacin my trackbar, i didn't catch it untill i asked the guy at firestone doin my alignment to check it out, Redwolf
  19. well i think today after work i'm gonna buy some gumout carb cleaner and try that, i'll save the water and seafoam as a last resort, Redwolf
  20. i've been messin with the fuel/air mixture ever since i had this problem and it's not helpin any and i know bout carbs bein way out-dated but i didn't have the money to slap a computer in my MJ water + fuel? doesn't that not mix too well? Redwolf
  21. still runnin a bit rough, it's like a slight miss that normal GMs have and i still have a slight run on, could there be anything else? Redwolf
