Read These http://www.canada.com/calgaryherald/news/story.html?id=4a96a20b-2264-409e-b715-d108a7f49122&k=79582 http://www.canada.com/calgaryherald/news/story.html?id=%20%09018c0a59-eb91-4f26-8c94-e545388a0aae&k=79582 Everything I could possibly state are in these links. Read up. Last year one of our areas got about 95% of the trails taken away, and now our other 2 are going. Many clubs here in Calgary are taking projects to do with building bridges, putting up fences and doing garbage runs but it doesn't seem to be enough.

I've been playing in snow for a long time... and it's still snowing. But not that much snow.

Reverse lights - BA-10
SuicidalPenguin replied to ChiefJosh's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Oooh. I can check in the morning, but it's very obvious when you see it. 2 prongs should be sticking out, 2 cylindrical posts, about middle of the one of the sides. The wire was pretty thick and ran from tranny to engine. -
Reverse lights - BA-10
SuicidalPenguin replied to ChiefJosh's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Mine didn't work when I bought it. It was just a plug that wasn't attached on the side of the tranny. Little 2 prong thingy. Plugged it in, worked fine. -
Nice looking truck. But as you said, those nascar stickers need to come off.

I have a CarDomain account, but I never update it. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2444927/

I HATE rocks Mud's really all we really have around here. All the trails will have at least 1 big @$$ mudhole on it. I don't clean it up. I still have mud inside my truck from september, and I let the rain/snow wash my truck. I only clean the electrical and rad.

That's classic! Agreed. Nice list.
-
Nice. I do that stuff all the time with my comanche. But mine is alot lower than yours. My best skid was when I put the truck sideways on a main road while it was raining. Up to that day, I never realized how easy it was to break loose.

YAY!!! Another Albertan! Awesome. Welcome

Nice truck, good work. Really digging that color. Ever since I saw the blue Colorado's i've wanted it as the color of my MJ. That or the burnt orange.

rear brakes locking up?
SuicidalPenguin replied to jared's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Is that what causes it? It freaked me out the first time I told the jeep offroading. Hit the highway, tapped the pedal and the brakes locked up. -
My dad runs them on the rear of his Duramax. It's his daily driver and is on the highway alot. Months in, no retorqing and no problems.
-
That's a nice looking truck. I personally would be afraid to wheel that thing.

Transfer case vac. lines melted
SuicidalPenguin replied to reddog's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I guess that explains my problem too. Never even thought to check there when my 4wd went out, but the lines are melted. -
Link worked for me. Nothing special, just a stocker going through a puddle. It is a nice truck though.

New 2.5 MJ project...Now a 4.0 H.O. project
SuicidalPenguin replied to CEThomas's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
That's a sweet bumper. I like it. -
Damn that's heavy duty. Wonder what one of those would run for price.
-
That is awesome. Them crazy californians. I wanna live down there.

My Comanche in 1.5 yrs
SuicidalPenguin replied to RandysMJ's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
How good was the flex before you switched to leafs (with the 37's)? I've always wondered how much lift I would need to clear 37's. Thanks. -
Sounds like one of those lowriders. A similar one was posted around the site somewhere (a picture that is). I'll see if I can dig it up, but I do know the edition.
-
rofl. The only thing JF did for me was allow me to find this site
-
I read that topic on the rough country kits. I laughed. I would of got their 3" lift if i hadn't of done the junkyard one. I'd never turn to them if I ventured into replacement arms. And the detroit locker thing, well that's just silly.

x2 For when I replace my rear window.
