I finally installed my truck shell and my newly powered coated wheels. Before: Image Not Found Image Not Found After: Image Not Found I like how it looks now, all I have to do is install L.E.D. lites on the shell as clearance lites and a CB antenna as well. And I painted it with a roller and RustOleum Hammered Silver.

Yea it would be a daily driver. You said "but the 4.0 is just getting broke it", what do you mean?

My wife has a 90 xj with ABS :wall: with a 4.0 That I'm not looking forward to fix. Also it has gotten hot so I don't know what shape the engine is in? Would this be a good buy? Does it have to be a 2.5L similar to mine with a 5 speed or can I use one that has a 2.8L V6 with an auto? Also my column is black, can I use my black pieces off of my old column and use them on the new one with tilt?

My 86, 2.5L was running ruff too. So I changed out my O2 censor and replaced all of my vacuum tubing. She is so smooth right now, purrs like a kitten. :clapping:

On my 86 2.5L Comanche? I bought a set for my 90 Xj and never installed them, and I don't want to go and exchange them if I don't have to. Thank you for ANY help.

Did you ask for one with a gage or a light? I bought mine at Kragen (Checker same place). I look to see if I still have the box for them or a part number on them as well.

Thanks for the info. I will be doing a complete royal purple oil change. With Synchromax in the tranny, max atf in the transfer case, max gear in the axels and royal oil in the engine. I know its going to be expensive but I have a freind of mine that swears by it.

What are the oil specs (viscosity) on my 1986 2.5L 5 speed 4X4? Front and rear axle? Manual Transmission? Transfer case? I think or I know I :wall: put the wrong oil in my transmission and I want to upgrade to royal purple oil. So what do I need?

:agree: That's great. My wife and I were thinking on doing FEDEX Custom Critical, owner operator expedited freight. But this past march I suffered a broken rib and torn shoulder due to a bad fall. The trailer was red tagged for a broken floor but someone sent it out anyway. This was with J.B. H :rant:nt I tripped and fell onto my right side. :wall: Currently I'm waiting a surgery date.

Um sorry. To get this topic back on track, I would travel back in time and get a 1964 1/2 mustang convertable, a 1957 T-bird, 1955 ford f-100, 1954-56 c-600 (comercial grade f series truck, f series nose but a cab over truck) etc.. All with less than 100 miles on them. Store them till now and then sell them as non restored.
