  2. I swapped them from one side to the other it was really easy and yes the plug on the side made it really easy. Your right bhltaz I wouldnt lock the d@mn thing either but theres more money in tools in there than the truck is worth somtimes.well dollar amount atleast not sentimental of course! And yes hornbrod there will be no more dumb a$$es driving my truck anymore Thanks for all the help guys :D
  3. Thanks BLHTAZ your always the one to solve my problems for some reason. If you ever make it over my way Ill make sure to have plenty B/L lime on ice for you
  4. I knocked a vaccum hose off the MAP sensor one time and had very simular symptons I'm not sure if this relates but hopfully it helps
  5. I have had many 80's model chevy truck's and K5 blazer''s and they are 1" thinner in the rear I was told this is designed this way for two tracking pattern's on the trail,in other words the front and rear tire's ride in a slightly different part of the rut could be bull sh#t and I always installed spacer's to even otu the handling and look so I say do it!
  6. Can anybody tell me if the door lock cylinder will work on either side? I let my dumb a$$ cousin borrow my truck and he lock the keys in it.So what he did was drive a screw driver in the "DRIVER'S DOOR" lock  so now I have to unlockit from the pass. side and reach across, and that really sux in the rain.If he would have called me there's a spare set of key's stashed on the truck  Anyways back to the topic I'm being cheap and don't really want to rekey the truck if I don't have to.
  7. You suck that almost got me excited. No really that was pretty funny
  8. This looks like a boogie nights christmas.J/K my wife go's all out the same way thank god I was at work for this years stringing..
  9. Welcome to the club  I have to admittt that when I bought my truck I intended on just trowing some used M/T's at it and abusing it until it died but the more I drove the more I liked it and now it's all I drive. Moral of the story biuld some cup holder's and ditch the dodge.
  10. That was one of the best ones I've read in awhile. The only thing I can say is "CLASSIC".....LMAO!
  11. Happy anniversary  Now get out there and drive that poor truck!
  12. Yes he did!! Sorry I missed you man!!! Reson46, Sorry no but there was nothing to see but a pile of scrap spring steel!!! Glad to have RUSTY'S CRAP out of and off my Jeep!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! don't BUY RUSTY's!! We should start up a fund, kinda like a AAA. When one of us has a hankering to save some dough up front and buy Rusty's, we dip into the fund. Trek out to them and go to the bar and drink beer until we talk them out of it!!! What do you think... CW I'll second it just for the beer drinking, heck if your buying the beer ill threaten to buy some of there garbage.
  13. I forgot to mention that it is 2WD.
  14. I was wandering if there is some kind of special socket that anyone knows of to remove the drain plug from a peugot? It is a sqaure female but smaller than a 3/8" rachet and larger than a 1/4".I tried the best I could to get a caliper in ther to measure the I.D. and it's pretty close to 5/16",any help would be great. Thanks in advance T.J.
  15. If you have the 4.0 renix version I would say start with checking the intake manifold for leaks, but the high idle problem could also be caused by the idle air control (IAC) bhltaz had a really good thread on a simular problem also.
  16. This is gonna make me sound like a tight wad but I have a buddy that's parent's own a JY and since I went through there they do not have 4.0 left in there with a IAC or a TPS,yeah granted its not the right way to fix things but opposed to parts store prices, there's nothing that beats free!
  17. I had this problem with mine and the first thing I thought was fuel also but after alot of trouble shooting and some knowledge from a buddy it turned out to be throttle positioning sensor.
  18. :needpics: need I say more!
