  1. How did you bleed them the first time?
  2. Yupp. And when I replaced the pump it did the same thing. I checked continuity to ground and I have .05 ohms so I've got a good ground what are the chances the brand new pump I ordered is bad?

  4. I was teaching a friend how to drive stick in my truck because he just bought a new car and can't drive it. Well we were in a parking lot and he went to take off and the truck hiccupped a few times and then dies. I assumed he let the clutch out to quick but then it wouldnt start and I couldn't hear the fuel pump. Well I checked a few things tried switching a couple relays around and that didn't help. I then ran a jumper wire from the positive side of the battery down to the pump and it only clicked. But I only have .45 volts coming out of the relay. Any ideas?
  5. Went on a 1500 mile trip this last week at 75mph the truck gets about 21 mpg

  7. I'm pretty sure my issue is valves. I just took the truck on a 1500 miles round trip at 75mph and didn't burn any oil. But at start up and before the engine gets up to temp I get a lot of smoke at idle, and when I take off from a stop I get a big puff and thats it. Is it fairly safe to assume that i have a valve issue?

  11. well I'm swapping out the original 2wd springs so I'm thinking i might get some lift. is that why you got the v8 zj coils for the front?

  13. I know my 88 has the smaller one. My 86 had the bigger one but it had a/c and cruise control which from what I read is the reason for the bigger canister. That's all I really know about them. I hope that helps
  14. Trans fluid is better than seafoam. Its a detergant so it cleans but still gives lubrication. I personal wouldnt drive that way. I put 2 QTS in my old f150 let it idle for an hour and reved it up every once in a while and then drained the oil while everything was still pretty warm.

  19. I don't think the rotors are the same. Aren't the studs on a 2wd on the rotor while on a 4x4 they are on the hub. I know that's how it is on most other trucks. Haven't done the brakes on my 2wd yet

  22. I've heard rumors that metric ton leaves will give me 2-3" of lift. But since they are OEM springs can I just use OEM shocks? I'd like have 3" of lift. Will metric ton leaves give me any lift or keep me at stock hight? And what shocks should I go with?
