    Joke

do NOT quit your day job. - lol.
  10. i followed the thread on here to do the by-pass and kept the mj distribution block under the hood. -its working great and i am pleased. all of the replies about cleaning the drums and checking the wheel cylinders and damp, swollen pads are probably what is going on with your truck, but i would also look at the front distribution block and make it so the line to the rear is coming out the front of the block and the original outlet is plugged. ----- it seemed to work well for me doing it this way.
  11. that lake is about 20 miles from my house and in the 45 yrs that i've lived here i've never met ANYONE who has ever made it into that lake.

  17. thats definitely something i wanna look into, especially since i just found out its gonna be a grand -either way. the rebuild or getting a low-miles used one put in. i do believe the 99 is an 8.25 and a 35 in the 95. the one thing that I'm concerned about now too is the auto / standard issue. - should this be a concern ???
  18. yes it does help. thank you. i thought that they looked different, but didnt realize it would not still be a direct bolt-on. thats a shame but guess we will have to have the one in the 99 rebuilt.
  19. so the t-case in wifeys 99 xj seems to b fried. she donated her 95 xj to my cause. i have her car at the shop and a plan was to take the t-case from the 95, but the parts guy has a computer program that says it won't work (but won't say why) and that it has to be a '98 or newer. the 99 is an auto, the 95 is a 5 spd. and both the t-cases are 231's. so can anyone confirm this?
  20. i havnt got any particular wheel in mind but I'm trying these for now. $150. off c.l. they came with the 30" mt's that are half worn but otherwise fine.
  21. that looks excellent ! id be keeping my eyes open for a white front end now.
  22. thats a sweet ride!! i wouldnt have to think twice if it was near me.
  23. i always try and be pleasant when dealing with "the filth", but if they get snotty i just clam-up and give them "the look". never argue, be as respectful as warranted. traffic cops are the only ones i ever worry about nowadays, and they don't seem to care if you have drugs, as long as your "licence plate is affixed to the vehical in the proper manner".(that was my last one) . the one before that was for a seat belt infraction, i had a young lady with me at the time and the cop looked at her and asked me if this was my daughter (obviously trying to be a ****.)
  24. my first thought was that that didnt make sense, because nothing has changed in the linkage, but that could be a good idea. do you hav a link of that site that has the pics ?
