  1. Nice score on the header panel(and the jeep too), but the header panel is almost the more lucky find. 97+ header panels are very rare in the yards, same with fenders etc. Whenever I come across good 97+ body panels I pull em, gotta get em while you can even if you don't need them.
  2. I think he's cooler now. :chillin:
  3. Red bucket seats in an 87 MJ at western off of federal. just FYI.
  4. The 1996's will also have the newer higher CFM fan.
  5. Well the XJ Dana 44 is gone. Sold it an hour ago for $400. Then I backed up the Jeep and unloaded the MJ D44. Time to take more pictures and post it online. Hope fully that will sell and I won't be worried about the mortgage this month!
  6. Ya, no kidding, maybe I should go buy a lotto ticket. Though to be fair the first Dana 44 I've managed to snag ever was a couple of weeks ago, and I will probably not find anymore for awhile. Right place at the right time sort of thing. Don't know how many 87 XJ's I've come across and the rear end was missing, someone beat me to it.
  7. So a couple of weeks ago I came across a Dana 44 from an XJ. Sold it for a quick profit. Thursday I came across another Dana 44 from an XJ, well, I was in a rush but I figured I couldn't pass it up, so I pulled it. Managed to get it out in quick order by myself. I had to get over to the body parts store by 5pm(closing time), 4:51 I had it paid for and was 7 minutes away from the parts store by google maps. Get out to the Jeep and have to get all the other parts out of it to load the rear end. Being in a rush I needed to get going quick, just decided the quickest way to load the axle was to pick it up and put it in. So i proceeded to do a task which probably should have hurt me, and at the least was just a dumb idea. I picked up the rear end off the cart, and put it in the back or the cherokee, once quick swift move. Then without taking a moment to rest grabbed all the other crap and threw it in. Got over to the body parts store at 5:01, managed to get in the door, and got my parts. Woot! So today I run back to the junkyards looking for the hood and cooling fan I didn't have time for on thursday. What do I find, a MJ with a Dana 44. So I got F*ck, I guess I gotta pull it. So 1.75 hours later I got a Mj dana 44 in the back of my Jeep. So now I have two dana 44s here, a dana 60 front, and there is another dana 60 front taunting me from the junkyard. Yarg, too many axles.

    Crying shame!!

Was that a long bed shell that was on the bed now sitting upside down? Why can't one of those be here in CO?
  11. gut the MJ, install all the XJ engine/dash wiring harness, AC system, etc etc. Plus, if you never get the title for the MJ you can always just use the title from the XJ.
  12. Nice. I like yellow:
  13. Will do.
  14. You could also do a 2 door XJ, and then use the little vent window behind the drivers door for some more length, and make a 4 door that way(keep it a little shorter).
  15. Here's what you do, get a 97+ XJ, like this one which sold for $900 today: http://ww4.traauctions.com/kws/napplica ... Exit=Close That one would have been perfect. Cut off the rear of the body, and make it into a 4 door, seems like you got the perfect donor to reuse the rear end of the cab and the nicer newer 97+ interior and front of the vehicle. Heck even if you got something that was lightly wrecked in the front you have all your good front end parts still to fix it.
  16. ya, all the time, its about 6 hours from here.

  19. Whichever one has the diesel.
  20. There was a guy here who had a couple of parts mighty mites, enough to combine and make one, wanted to do the project, seemed like a neat restoration to do.
  21. I get less irritation when shaving with an electric razor, ya I gotta make more passes but I don't get wicked razor burn at the base of neck like I do with a razor. I've also been shaving since I was 13, think I was probable the youngest in my 7th grade class needing to shave. I used razors back then, but along about christmas my freshman year of highschool(9th grade) I got an electric razor, the same one I use today. I think I've just gotten more used to the electric razor. For me the electric is a closer, better, quicker shave.
  22. Whats stranger is that the hood insulation is perfect.
