Those side trim moldings look just like 95-96 XJ "Country" side trim pieces. My 88 XJ laredo used those same style of moldings, the 96 XJ "classic" had those in body painted color. They were also on the Briarwood edition too.

I agree, the ECU under the hood, the 4.2 valve cover, odd clamps on the hoses, the intake neck, and some other things seemed out of place from what I remember a renix era engine bay being like(been years since I've been forced to endure one). I think its a good bet it was a test mule at some point, why pull a nice new MJ off the line to build into this and then never do anything with it when you can grab one that was used for testing and has no other purpose.

Hahaha, that copy protection is just a silly piece of Javascript! Javascript in Firefox can not disable the right click menu so you can always copy the image URL. There is always viewing the page source and searching for the image as well. If people only upload the pictures to ebay and the photos are only viewable through the ebay picture viewer then I have not found a way to find the image address. Inspect Element in Firefox. I do the inspect element all the time, I don't always manage to find the source before I give up and in hulk anger style smash the keyboard.

TDI no..... CRD yes....... I once slowed down to 60mph in my CRD.....got 36mpg I have no problem breaking 20 mpg in my XJ.....i don't know what your doing wrong.

I remember that show.....bunch of brits on the isle of wight or something. They would do things like take two halves of a tank turret and weld them together to make one intact one.
