  1. Finally after 4 1/2 months I start my new job Monday. I will be working at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in the maintenance dept. I have been trying to make ends meet since my former employer and good friend(still) ran into financial trouble in the beginning of the year. So everyone please pay all your taxes so at least you know where part of it is going. :clapping: Can't wait for Monday morning!! :clapping:
  2. Haven't replaced mine yet but have ones off of my donor. I drilled out the rivets on the donor but haven't even tried to replace on my driver yet. Yes there is a large nut, lock type, that attaches the regulator to the glass. I have heard horror stories about getting it off, but I used a pair of vise grip to hole the bolt to the glass, the vise grips had the rubber pads on them, just gradually adjust the pressure until the grips keep the bolt from turning then you can remove the nut. Just remember that you want to support the window glass to keep it from falling once the reg. is disconnected.
  3. lots of PB BLASTER and two breaker bars. Bear in mind the bolts probably won't survive. Good luck.
  4. Will a worn track bar make my MJ feel squirrelly at high speed? When traveling at highway speed sometimes when hit small bump on a curve or just driving straight, when hit bump, it feels like the steering is loose. As for history I rebuilt the front a couple of years back (2) and  didn't replace the track bar, and I was wondering if could be the cause of my problem?
  5. Is the "brace"/rectangular section that goes from front to back on the cab, you know the one that runs down the middle of the drivers as well as the passenger floor, :hmm: absolutely needed? I have seen a lot of floor replacements done on here and most do away with it. Th only issue I see is it is where the seat mounts go and would need to fab something or change seat mounts to accommodate it being removed.
  6. I GUESS HOSSA ISN'T SUPPOSED TO WIN A CUP

  17. I am looking to change the rubber hoses going from the fuel pump assembly to the hard line and want to make sure I get the right size. They look to be 1/4" hard lines but just want to confirm as it is my go to work vehicle. Thanks in advance. John
  18. If there wasn't any rust or dents I don't know if I would believe it was off of a Jeep :rotf:
  19. After talking to you today and thinking about it, had an hour drive home, they maybe asking about this due to the threads on the tie rod end. They are are threaded in opposite directions so when you turn them, both ends extend or collapse together, like a turnbuckle would. Hope this helps some. It was extremely nice to meet you today and good luck with your MJ :waving:

  25. I must be under that lucky carrier star  , because mine is in working order. Wait I did a cable replacement and rebuild on it a few years back, :dunno: so I'm not sure it counts.:dunno: I do like them despite the possible problems and I've been carrying a 235/75/15 for awhile now, but I do check it regular.
