so, I had what I thought was a wheel out of balance. took it for a check and found the drivers side sway bar link broke off at the top. removed the broken and waiting on new from advanced. are they as easy to put on as take off? what is the tourque on upper and lower nuts?
don't know about the smell as I have it in the trunk of my 86 bmw, but it does work well with 1 application. I bought the kit which came with everything needed to repair a hole.
so guys, I'm looking at a 92 xj this week and was wondering what to look for besides the usual. it's a 4.0l w/4x4. body is good as is the interior. do I need to check under the carpet like our manchees? the add say everything works including the front drive system. he's asking 1400.
please chime in.
well the resistor is in and operating well. got my fan speeds back. a little tricky getting the back resistor screw back in. had to take the (what ever that thing is called) that seems to operate the vents thingy off to get the screw in.
guys, I put a new set of pre sized plug wires on the truck yesterday. the box has 6 wires in it???????????? 4 plug, a coil, and wtf is this last wire for? am I missing something? napa # 700325
guys, my bumper is probably the only rust on the truck. that being said, how are the fey bumpers? tried the search but really got nada. my front chrome is excellent so I'm looking at the chrome rear but 2x the price of the black. how hard to mount? bolt right on?
well I replaced the cracked valve cover with a new plastic one. i'll keep my eyes open for a clean metal one. the fleabay ones where beat to hell. I also gave her a tune up w/ plugs, wires, cap and rotor. no need to move the ac unit to change the #1 plug when the vc was off, fairly easy acess. hardest part of the job was getting that rear bolt back in in the dark at 25 degrees.
guys, I started the truck for the first time in a week today and the oil pressure gauge is acting up. hovers around zero, then up to its normal 45 or 50 then will drop down again. was operating fine when parked last week. I did crack the valve cover last week and had some oil blow out. it coated the fire wall and all workings by the trans dip stick. where is the oil pressure switch? or what else could be doing this.
