Wow! That was a bargain. Anyone here get it?

I think there's thread in here somewhere where members listed their ownership history. Kudos to @Muncherfor his loyalty to Jeep vehicles.

I was thinking if an MJ were a Swiss Army Knife, this would be it! Nice rig!

Yes. They better match the export directional lenses. Purely aesthetic. Saw them on HOrnbrod's truck (R.I.P.) and liked the look.
-
Looks like #6 and #30 in the diagram ... Stock Export ... The example below is a new Crown knock off. About a year is the sun and they're flat orange, like a plastic pumpkin
-
Looking for OEM Export Marker Lights .... I have a growing stack of Crowne equivalents (that aren't equivalent). A year in the sun and they look like a plastic pumpkin. I'll update this with part numbers, but wanted to post this while I was thinking of it. Still looking for driver's seat base foam for my XJ too. AdTHANKSvance Tim

And ... they're gone.

https://boston.craigslist.org/sob/wto/d/stoughton-jeep-tj-rubicon-factory-moabs/7758173174.html Not mine, but this is a pretty good deal for what it is. Selling a set of 5 wheels with tires. These are factory wheels from a Jeep Wrangler TJ & LJ Rubicon. This wheel is called the Moab wheel and they're 16x8" aluminum. They are getting pretty hard to come by and in my opinion are the most beautiful factory wheels every offered on those Jeeps. The bolt pattern is 5x4.5" so they'll fit many other Jeep models. They'll fit: 87-95 Wrangler YJ 97-06 Wrangler TJ 04-06 Wrangler Unlimited LJ 84-01 Cherokee XJ 86-92 Comanche MJ 93-98 Grand Cherokee ZJ 02-12 Liberty KJ & KK etc. They even fit some Ford with the same bolt pattern. Set of 5. The tires are BF Goodrich All Terrain size 265/75R16. Three of the tires have usable tread, 2 are very low and I'd consider rollers. I'd recommend replacing all or using the 3 as good spares. $500 CASH picked up. Text/email to come see them. Available to be shown every day but Sunday.

1988 4x4 auto in New Orleans
NHMJXJ replied to Tex06's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
I'll be watching this too. -
Probably just me, but that thing is hideous.

Dave's Auto Center, 116 S. Main Street in Manchester, NH did my conversion. 603.644.2653 He came highly recommended for AC service on older vehicles. He did a great job, very reasonably priced.

This guy must have a drawer full of them.

My meaning was, the switch you stick the key in. I was thinking I broke something mechanical because of the resistance I described when trying to turn the key to start he truck. First effort the key would not turn at all. After reinserting and jiggling the key and the wheel, it "released" and turned with ZERO resistance, as though I had snapped something (although I didn't hear anything like that). It's a tilt column, so thank you for the heads up about the difference. I tried changing the angle, but to no avail.
-
I was running errands and jumping in and out.. Went to start the truck and there was resistance turning the key. Pulled it out, reinserted, gave the key and the steering wheel a jiggle. Still some resistance, but the key turned ... kind of freed up. The dash lit up like normal, but no one was home. I have a new battery and a relatively new starter. AAA came, tested the battery, banged on the starter. No purchase. He crossed the power to the solenoid and got me running so I could get home, but now that's the only way I can get it started. I suspect it's something to do with the ignition switch? Any ideas?

Summit has 97-02 TJ seat foam, but it looks different. Close, but not exact.

@Sir Sam are they side specific? I know the covers are, but I thought a right side cushion might work. I'm looking for the driver's side. I didn't realize how compressed it is until I rode shotgun one day.
