today i got a damn good deal i think.. i got a FREE 8.8 with disc brakes and 4.10s out of a 2001 ford explorer!! oh i was also gonna ask how much could i get for some bucket seat brackets from a comanche? i was gonna slap em on ebay but i don't wanna get ripped

does anyone have a black one of these? or a lifted one? how could i just make my own??

would that nv 3500 be a better option for me? bc i was just gonna use the ax-15tranny/t-case and use my old bellhousing so it would just bolt up... i think ill just do that still

i found it on google to. i searched for comanche to see what came up, i found a pic of petes comanche and started lookin for more and found this site and got on board haha

i need a tranny, but iam just gonna go to my local junkyard and get a ax-15 and the t-case and put em in my manche. i can get the tranny/t-case for $350 thats not bad i guess.. i just have to come up with that haha

i lifted mine and didnt aim them...iam doin ok .... you gotta "feel" your way through the dark hahaha.. little bumps = suv's pot holes = civics haha

when my mj starts sometimes it revs kinda high then goes down after a few seconds or a min... is that the TPS? my friends xj does it for 5 mins

if youve read the pub section youll see i just got a guage cluster out of a 89 xj..i put it in and all the guages work fine..tach, speedo, etc. but when i push the brakes both arrows come on..not blinking...just stay on for as long as iam on the brake haha.. idk why they do that is there a wire different on the 89 then my 88 ?

i love mopar iv got a cuda as well but mines a '74 360 4spd it needs a little "restoration" as well lol

i traded a kid my bucket seats for his grey bench seat..(so my gf can sit right next to me) lol i like it but it was grey and i had tan interior...so i pretty much tore everything out and painted the dash grey hahaha.. idk if you guys remember but i put a pic up of a grey 92 comanche that i found near my house... its such a cool truck!! i talked to the guy the other day before i traded seats... his son had a yj and totaled it...so guess what his son drives now....the flippin manche!!! and he just put a 8" lift on it with 33's... its gonna roll... so here's a pic of it from then..ill get a shot of it lifted when i give him the seat belts.. i wanna do this as easily as possible... iam on a very tight budget.. so ill try to get the ax15 and t-case and use my bellhousing

i think i messed up lol question was .......can i just bolt on a newer ax15 and the t-case that comes with the ax15 instead of using my old t-case...i don't wanna pay the extra however much to change the input shaft i just wanna get a ax-15/t-case and hope to bolt those to my motor eliminating my old tranny and t-case alltogether
